I will be going to Cumming, Georgia in July and would like to know where to get my gluten-free food and other things like rice milk. I usually shop at Whole Foods but there isn't one in that area. My sister wasn't much help in finding a health food store there. So I am turning to you guys. Thanks.

The local supermarket chains Kroger and Publix will have gluten-free things.

If you go about a half an hour there is Atlantis Natural Food.

2488 Mt. Vernon Rd.

Dunwoody GA

0338

770-393-1297

Also 30 minutes away there is a Harry's Farmers Market which is basically the same as Whole Foods.

2025 Satellite Pointe

Duluth, GA 30096

770.416.6900

I hope this helps!

Atlantis Natural Foods now has a website up. You can find directions to their store at Open Original Shared Link

This is a new site and their ordering capability is not quite functional. They say they expect it to be ready by tomorrow.

Which brand of Probiotics is best for Celiac disease?

If a Celiac person is successful in following a gluten-free diet, they can go into remission.   They may not have a reaction to gluten without a precipitating event like an injury or infection or even emotional or mental stress.   Following a strict gluten-free diet at home, then indulging in gluten containing products abroad without a reaction can be explained by this remission.

Approximately 10x more people have non-celiac gluten sensitivity than have celiac disease, but there isn’t yet a test for NCGS. If your symptoms go away on a gluten-free diet it would likely signal NCGS.
