gluten-free Bisquick Expensive As Usual

I was so excitied for the new gluten-free Bisquick to hit the shelves. I was hoping it would be more reasonably priced compared to all the other gluten free flour blends/baking mixes, but it was not. The cheapest place I found it at was at Walmart. It was a 16 oz box for $4.15. It was sitting next to the 96 oz box for $5.98. The gluten free mix is 4 times the price of the regular bisquick. I was just hoping maybe it would be cheaper. It only has 3 1/2 cups of flour in the box. I hope that General Mills considers putting out a larger box of the gluten-free bisquick at a cheaper price. I am thankful though for all of the gluten free products that General Mills has come out with in the last year or so.

The only thing I ever used Bisquick for was to make dumplings in beef stew. I'll buy it once a year for that treat... no matter what it costs! But I feel your pain... the foods we have to buy are always pricier!!
