On Levothyroxine

I was diagnosed with hypothroid and put on Levothyroxine .05mg last year. Six weeks ago I was diagnosed Celiac. Now that I have been on a gluten free diet as best I can, I feel hyperactive. I wake up early and can't sleep until after midnight. Could I be absorbing my thyroid medicine differently now.

You could be absorbing either thyroid medicine or iodine differently. Time to go to your doctor for thyroid bloodwork!

I have a doctor's appointment with blood work for September 21st and I am going to be out of town for the next two weeks. I am thinking I will cut my medicine in half because I can't wait until the 21st. .05 doesn't seem like a strong dose but I can't think of anything else that could be causing this.

Thanks I will try that for now. By the way I love Chocolate too. Land O Lakes has a good chocolate chip cookie recipe.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

Anyone experimented with Taurine supplementation either via electrolyte powders or otherwise? Thanks

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
