Anybody done any research with this restaraunt? My office buddies really like to eat here.

I have eaten there a couple of times. I always get a salad as I can stand right there and watch them make it. I make sure the bowl is clean and she has on fresh gloves and I use my own dressing. It's not my top choice as I still worry about cross contamination there. I usually get the salmon as I don't know if the chicken has been marinated. I've gotten it with both the field greens and with the spinach and strawberries. I have not however, gotten sick except for the first time when I used their balsamic vinegrette.

Thanks. Was the salmon in the salad or is that another entree all together? I'm can bring my own dressing that is a no brainer. We just always have one person who wants to eat here and I always decline. Maybe I'll give it a try next time.

Next time you go ask them what's in the Tomatoe Basil soup. Usually its made with heavy whipping cream and tomatoes.

They have the salmon separate in a foil package that they put on top of your salad. Same with the chicken. I used to eat there all the time before I was diagnosed. Their bread is awesome and their Napoleons.....Fond memories.

Thanks for the info. I will go tomorrow and check out the tomato basil soup and order a salad with salmon and bring my own dressing. I'll report in tomorrow night! Thanks for all the help.

I used to love to eat there too before I was DX... they had the best bread! Oh and the French Onion Soup!!! Divine!

My brother (who also has celiac disease) was a manager here for awhile. He said they didn't really have anything gluten-free, although he's not much of a salad eater. He brought his lunch to work.

      Hey there, have you been tested for allergies? You may not only have celiac disease but be allergic. I have celiac disease and am allergic to Barley, wheat and rye.

      I have osteopenia and have cracked three vertebrae.  Niacin is connected to osteoporosis!       Thank you so much for the clarification! Yes to these questions: Have you consulted dietician?  Have you been checked for nutritional deficiencies?  Osteoporosis? Thyroid? Anemia?  Do you take any supplements, or vitamins? I’m within healthy range for nutritional tests, thyroid and am not anemic. I do have osteopenia. I don’t take any medications, and the dietician was actually a nutritionist (not sure if that is the same thing) recommended by my physician at the time to better understand gluten free eating.    I almost wish the gluten exposure had triggered something, so at least I’d know what’s going on. So confusing!    Many thanks!
