My daughter had the endoscopy done today. Her report states that "the duodenum looked normal but no villi could be appreciated macroscopically." We have to wait 2 weeks for the biopsy results. Her Ttg was 22.

Any thoughts?

If she is done with all testing you can go ahead and start a trial of the diet. Hopefully the doctor took at least 6 biopsies but be aware that there can be false negatives with them. The biopsies do need to be examined microscopically before the results can be given. Her response to the diet may give you the most conclusive answers before you get the testing results.

Yes, wait for the biopsy. Nothing was seen on my daughter with the scope but the biopsy showed alot under the microscope. You could try a gluten-free diet now if you wanted.

Ditto Divamomma. Doctor saw nothing with endoscopy but biopsy proved positive.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
