Gluten-Free Cake Enhancer (Also For Bread)

I got some of this last week and figured I'd try it for yeast bread as it's always my biggest challenge. It's supposed to make all baked goods - cakes, sandwich breads and more - lighter and moister and keep them fresh longer.

I plan to try it with a bread recipe I've made before from Annalise Roberts' cookbook, Gluten-Free Baking Classics. Just curious to know if anyone has experience with it.

I bought some dough enhancer. Not sure if it's the same thing or not. I've not used it yet because I don't know what to do with it!

I'm not sure what dough enhancer is. Is it an Ener-G product? Does the info on it say what it's supposed to do?

I bought some Ener-G Egg Replacer but haven't used it yet either. I've seen recipes that call for it in a Bette Hagman cookbook I bought a short while ago, but I haven't tried any of her recipes yet.

I did use the cake enhancer yesterday and I think it made a difference. The bread rose faster and I wanted to let it rise more but was afraid it would collapse. I bought a 9x4x4" bread pan so my next loaf will be to use the cake enhancer and bake it in the new pan. Always experimenting, not always successful. lol

It's not Ener-G. I think it might be Australian but not sure. I have the egg replacer. Doesn't seem to work very well.

I don't think the egg replacer is meant to replace all the eggs in a recipe. Just as applesauce, for instance, isn't meant to replace all the oil or butter in a recipe.

From their website I see "organic barley leaf powder" as an ingredient. Keep in mind that the gluten is in the kernel, and not in the leaves. https://drinkag1.com/about-ag1/ingredients/ctr

Before the rise of social media we were well known by a lot of doctors and were recommended by many, especially our Safe & Forbidden Lists, but as doctors get younger and younger this is probably not happening as much as before.

Thanks Scott I will definitely check my vitamins and minerals to see what I am missing so then I can supplement. I was very concern about my Meniers syntoms and i tryed to find some alive. Now im just realizing that my celiac is provably the root cause of my Meniers none of the 12 doctors I saw told me anything about this.  This web site is so helpful, thanks to people like you we can get answers.

Vitamin D deficiency can contribute to rib pain. Chest pain stemming from the ribs ccould be costochondritis, which involves inflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the breastbone. This pain can range from mild to severe, potentially mimicking heart attack symptoms, and is often worsened by breathing or movement. Other potential causes include muscle strain, rib fractures, or even referred pain from other conditions.  It will also help to chose vegetables low in omega 6.
