I just got the results of my blood work. Could you please help me make sens of it... whats does it mean?? Do i have celiac desease or not?? So here it goes.

my IGA level is 7, My IGC level is 17 et my transglutamine level is 4. I should also tell you that i had a biopsy done a few years ago ( 4 years ago i tkink) and it came back negative for the celiac..But my blood still has the antibodies every year when i have my check up... I am feeling fine.. No symptoms really. There is some things that i cant eat because it feel like i am gonna trow up ( mal de coeur) like pasta and couscous... but other then that i eat whatever i whant... i am not on the diet right now.. My doctor dosent know much about this sickness so he is refering me to a specialist. I dont know when i will be able to get an appointment.

Last year my blood work whas this : IGA 10, IGC 28 and transglutamine 4. So it changer during the last year...What does it mean??

Thank you so much for your help.

It really depends on what the lab says the ranges are for normal results. For my results and IGA and IGG of less than 25 was normal, but that could be different with the lab your doctor used. I did not have the TTG test - I had the EMA, which simply read POSITIVE. I believe the ranges for TTg can vary widely depending on the lab. The references should be listed on the lab work, so you can ask your doctor or ask for a copy of your medical records to be sure.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
