I've found out a family memeber had UC and now I'm wondering whether UC and celiac disease tend to go together. Has anyone else had both? Is it something that appears in children?

well im not sure honestly. in 1996 (pre knowledge of gluten intolerance & paleo diets & celiac)- i had bloating/severe pain, etc in Japan... they first checked everything in my reproductive system (cause i had ovarian cyst in the past)- and did some kind of ultrasound on my colon & intestines? anyways they diagnosed me with Colitis and said to eat soup for a while.

later- in between my celiac tests & my self-diagnosis-> i had GROSS symptoms... looked like lymphatic material in my bowel movements. i thought it may be lymphatic material from my small intestine.. but now im wondering if it's part of Colitis???

      Thanks Scott. They are gluten-free but cross contaminated.
