Read the ingredients. I think is its just a mix of spices. I thought I looked at this once & it said gluten-free on the container?

I just got my behind up out of this comfy computer chair & trudged downstairs to the kitchen. My Old Bay lists only spices & salt. Doesn't say gluten-free but it is.

I contacted them prior to using it and was told it is gluten-free. McCormick clearly states any gluten on labels. However, this is proof...

Thanks guys! I ate something for lunch that i had for dinner lastnight but i have a major stomach ache now. didnt do that to me lastnight. but i was thinking maybe the seasoning but i was pretty sure it was okay now i know for sure it is so now i don't know what caused this tummy ache. :(

Well, there's certainly SOMETHING in it that bothers the heck out of ME!! I have NO idea what it is, but it kills me.

Here's the ingredients:

INGREDIENTS

CELERY SALT (SALT, CELERY SEED), SPICES (INCLUDING MUSTARD, RED PEPPER, BLACK PEPPER, BAY [LAUREL] LEAVES, CLOVES, ALLSPICE [PIMENTO], GINGER, MACE, CARDAMOM, CINNAMON) AND PAPRIKA.

PLenty of spices that could bother someone. I know pimento bothers me.

      Thoughts? Non-endoscopic Celiac diagnosis in two year old

      Okay that is really good to know. So with that being positive and the other being high it makes sense she diagnosed her even without the endoscopy. So glad we caught it early. She had so many symptoms though that to me it was clear something was wrong. yeah I think we had better test us and the other kids as well.

      @GlorietaKaro, your respiratory reactions to gluten make me wonder if there might also be an allergic (anaphylaxis) component at work here.

In the meantime, I will carry on has I have been— it’s working! Thanks also for the validation— sometimes I just feel crushed by disbelief. Not enough to make me eat gluten though—
