Has anyone tried the Suave professional line - rosemary and mint shampoo? I've heard that suave in general is gluten free -- but i noticed that my scalp has been itchy recently and on the bottom of the bottle it mentions something about aveda ... and i read somewhere to be leary of aveda products....Makes me wonder if it has gluten in it...or Just wondering if anyone else has had a reaction to it?

Suave is known for clearly labeling gluten ingredients but I don't know if all of their products are gluten free without reading the labels. However when I looked at the ingredients on line it does have Vitamin E and does not name the source. You could call them and ask what it is derived from.

It could also be something else in it that does not agree with your scalp. For example soy in any form will make my scalp itch just as much as a gluten ingredient.

I tend to go with Garnier products as they also clearly label. There is a newer shampoo called Himalaya which is also nice and even says gluten free on the label. It has a nice spicey scent if you like that sort of thing.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
