Eat Natural Bars - Gf?

I was in my local Safeway grocery store the other day looking at bars for a treat. I had gotten a yogurt covered almond and apricot bar before so was looking at that bar made by Be Natural. I looked at the ingredients, saw malt and wheat so thought hmmm, did they change the ingredients? Then I looked down a shelf and saw the Eat Natural yogurt, apricot and almond bar - this one says on the label "gluten free" and thought ok, this is the one I had before. But I checked the ingredients and it said malt extract, too. So I didn't get it.

I just looked online to clear this up - the Eat Natural bars are made in the UK. But nothing online has the ingredient of malt. So I am wondering if this is a batch with a misprint, or what the deal is? I don't recall seeing malt on the label before, but I could be wrong there. I don't remember getting sick from it - I had it early in gluten-free and may have opted to trust the gluten-free label rather than worry about the malt.

I suppose it could be rice malt but would not risk it now. Anyone have an experience with these? Both brands look a lot alike which is also a concern, in my book.
