Does anyone use celiac.com on a kindle fire?

Is there a way to set the forum to mobile version or other setting so the forum fits the screen?

Ok this is strange - I am now in mobile version but have no idea how it changed.

There is a button towards the bottom of the full version to switch to mobile version. It works on my phone, not sure how it would apply to the kindle fire. Then there is a single button at the bottom of mobile to switch back to full.

PS, jealous, fancy one of those :)

Me too! Bought my Mom one last Christmas because "alll her friends have kindles" - figured I'd wait to see if she actually used. She hasn't much but now my Dad whom has never touched a computer wants to learn - uggg

Brought it home to learn its quirks better before I attempt to train Dad - pray that we both survive those lessons without smashing the kindle ;)

Anyway - my cell has the mobile/full version option but not the kindle - odd.

Still don't know how to toggle it.

Mr Mindwarp has offered to set up my Mum's PC ,and teach her. I am so much not in the building when that happens.

Technology lessons suck - I am thankful one of my sons has the tech gift like me so I've been able to pawn some of my folks electronic house calls to him - its a win win - when he goes they give him $20 and I am far less frustrated - when I go I get stuck there and never receive a tip ;)

Ok...if any other kindle users stumble across this thread...

When using the kindle fire's "web" browser feature with celiac.com once you enter a post you are switched to mobile mode automatically and the "Full Version" toggle button is then revealed.

I will check if there is a url or other method to get to mobile mode without posting.

      When you say you have been in an "entirely gluten-free household" since January of 2025" does that include making sure you have checked that all medications, supplements and oral hygiene products are gluten free? I can also tell you that for some people, it can take several years for their antibody numbers to normalize.

      I believe you are falsely concluding that elevated tTG-IGA/tTG-IGG levels can only be caused by celiac disease. I will offer a link here to an article outlining the various blood antibody tests that can be used to diagnose celiac disease. Each one them has less than a 100% specificity for celiac disease:

      thank you @trents ! I am reading through these, and it gives some clarity on the other possible causes of villous atrophy, but given that I still have high ttg levels, I am thinking that the most likely cause is still the celiac disease, and any treatments for other causes would not address the increased ttg levels and villous atrophy caused by that?

      Hi Scott,  I am wondering how you came to this extensive list of vitamins? I just took a blood test and was low on a few items, so I am thinking about taking a multi vitamin, but I would prefer to have a doctor or professional guide me on which ones to take to help with the deficiencies. There is so much conflicting information, I don't know where to begin. Thank you!
