Diabetes And Dh Rash

I have Diabetes Type II and DH. I wonder if my rash isn't healing quickly could be attributed to Diabetes? Would Diabetes cause the rash to last longer even though I am taking Dapsone and am eating gluten-free?

The rash is so improved with the dosage of Dapsone that I am taking but curious about other people and their reactions with DH and Diabetes. If you have any information to reference, please advise.

My understanding from what I have read on the board is that DH takes the longest time to resolve. The autoimmune antibodies seem to hang around in the skin longer than in the bloodstream or the gut and the symptoms, unfortunately resolve very slowly. For some the DH is very sensitive to iodine, for others not so much. For some the Dapsone works quite quickly; for others is mediates the symptoms somewhat so they are not quite so acute, but does not chase them away.

It seems like much patience is needed with DH :(

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
