  2. sandwich bread and blueberry mufffins and pie crust and their brownies were amazing too but not worth the 7 dollars when there are other ways to make more for less than that that are pretty good...
  3. i called the 1800 number on the back of some hidden valley ranch and they said it was gluten free but talk to a nutritionist about cross contaminantion (this lady went on forever, i was like i just want a yes or no answer, i know what celiac is! haha) she also said that they would clearly label wheat on the label...i dont know how trustwrothy this info was...
  4. i just discovered kinnikinnick bread last week (cinamon raisin bagels and pizza crust!) and its the first gluten-free bread ive found that doesnt make me want to throw it away! man i missed cream cheese and bagels!! i've been microwaving it and then tossing it in the toaster (basically burnining it more on accident than on purpose...) but its still delicious...
  5. i had read on here somewhere else that some cocoa puffs and trix were safe but decided to search on here again before eating, and i guess my box of cocoa puffs is ok, guess its not very popular down here in this small town? lucky for me!!! just want to say that omg these cocoa puffs are delicious...ive missed them!! i may be heading back to walmart to see...
  6. i've been taking nexium perscribed by my gastro-doc since about may i think? and i was diagnosed with gluten intolerance after that by the same doc, and i have heard from a lot of people including my doctor that if your gonna stop that kind of medicine, you have to ease off it slowly...my doctor is really big ointo the whole celiac thing...i felt like he...
  7. question about their product labeling... i bought their roasted chicken rice, i couldn't find any "bad" ingredients listed on the package, but decided to look up the site anyway...it lists gluten free products and wheat free products, and the rice i have is on the wheat free list...what do you guys think?? here's the site that says that: Open Original...

  9. i'm a freshman in college and i've gotten a large fridge, microwave, ect but i'm still not sure what to get to kep my stomach full. i'm at school in a small town so superwalmart or the local grocery store are about my only food options. any suggestions for "normal" food that are gluten-free that would make good meals and snacks would be greatly appreciated...
  10. do many salad dressings have gluten, or or most of them safe?? i haven't had a chance to look into it yet...so i've just been avoiding eating salad in general!! it'd be nice to add that as a meal variety...particularly i'm a ranch/italian type...THANKS!
  11. just gotta say yay for ben and jerrys!! lol since i happen to work at one...i was excited i could still eat most of the ice cream since i'd only had the job about a month when i found out i was gluten intolerant!! can't let free ice cream go to waste!!
  12. i've only been gluten-free for a little over a month, but i find that i go look in the pantry for a snack and find nothing!! any suggestions on what TASTES GOOD and would make good snacking food?? thanks!

  15. hey all, i'm 19 and i've been trying to follow a gluten-free diet for about a month to a month and 1/2 now. I think I was only diagnosed with a gluten intolerance (which my doctor kept calling sprue...i think he's semi-crazy but ya kno) i've been label reading fairly religiously but i've only really been checking for the word wheat in the labels...what else...
