  1. I went to the joeys in sherwood park alberta canada.....It had two salads, the chicken, the steaks, the charbroiled basa( sounded good) the ribs.....i cant qiute remember what else.....but i know earls doesnt cause my brothers friend is a chef there and i asked him.......
  2. I just thought id make a post letting everyone know that i went to joey tomatoes today and they had a seperate gluten free menu...i was pleasently surprised...i dont know if this is already known but i just thought id share....
  3. mmmm hows the texture?.....i just had my first gluten free bun today and it was horrible!!! the testure was like sand and sawdust....it didnt taste anything like bread......and it was spoungy.......yuck......lol crap never mind U.S. only.....

I think the problem with going to the emergency room is that doctors do get a bit jaded there....im a nursing student and alot if the time the doctors end up with stab wounds in one room and a child with a head cold in another...they start to treat the latter as an annoyance.....i do think people should be using the er less for non emergencies and the doctors...

  9. is liquid smoke gluten free? i also read that color isnt always gluten free......does anyone actually go without eating products with color?
  10. so its in my salad dressing....and on this pages forbidden list there is disodium.....but ive been searching and so far no one has said its bad when people have listed it as an ingrediant...so confuzzed

  12. im actually hoping to loss weight going gluten-free....i seem to eat a lot less now that there are less options...it also makes good for cutting out carbs.......

Hi im new and i was wondering if anyone here hasnt actually been diagnosed with celiacs.....ive been dealing with various stomach issues for as long as i can remember and ive tried so many things...ive been poked and proded,had all different meds thrown at me, ive tried eliminating dairy numerous times and went down to a basic plain diet with no flavour what...
  14. hello andrea.....on your siggy you have a list of foods according to your blood test....what kind of test was that? my dad has heard about a doctor that does a blood test and sends it off to some clinic in the us (i live in canada) and it tells you all the foods you are sensitive to...is that the same test?

Thank you SO much...i will have to ask my dad if i can download it first but it will be a huge help....i've only been gluten free for a little while and im already really frustruated with all the things i cant eat..finding this forum was great although i find it a tad confusing....hopefully ill get used to it.....
  16. So i am new to this forum and actually new to eating gluten free as well and i had a few questions about what i can and cant eat like tums?or rolaids? yeast extract? and is there any link to a list of safe foods that someone could give me so i dont have to go searching? thanx
