    I have a question here for anyone with candida overgrowth or a suspision of it......if you went to a doctor..how did they react? did they claim it wasnt real?.....im considering going to my doctor to ask about it but im not sure how many more times i can get the "your crazy" look.....he seems to have it all prepared b4 he even enters the exam room now...lol

    thats funny cause usually when i tell a waitress that i cant have gluten they say " your celiac?" which im not im just gluten sensitive.....i dont actually have any damage..... I read that sandra bolluck has IBS maybe its celiacs....

    your story makes me feel sick....im a nursing student that plans to go into neonatal or pediatric medicine......i know its little comfort to you but i hope that i can help stop this kind of thing from happening in some way.....i tell you though...when i come in contact with sick children like yours....celiacs is gonna be one of the first things on my mind...

    wow so we can eat banana bread it seems..lol heres the recipie i used if any ones interested... you have to make a batch of the bean flour mix first 1 part cornstarch 1 part bean flour 1 part tapioca flour 1/2 part rice flour combine: 1 3/4 cup flour above 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 heaping teaspoon of xanthan...

    i just used the recipie in the joy of cooking but substituted all purpose flour with a bean flour mix...(i part bean flour 1 part cornstarch 1 part tapioca flour and 1/2 part rice flour) i also added xatham gum......if you want the whole recipie i can post it.....

    you know one thing i have noticed since going gluten free is that i dont eat nearly as much.....i used to be able to eat SOOOOO much and people used to say i had a hollow leg.....but now i actually get full......ITS AMAZING...lol

    So i went to see a movie last night and i really wanted popcorn.....it made my stomach hurt and ive had diarreha all day......i read the ingredients on thier massive tub of margarine and it seemed ok.....but it had canola oil.....i dont really know what that is......was i glutened?

    So i went to the doctor.....another useless appointment.....im trying to get a allergy panel test done...my doctor wont order the kit.....i found a naturo pathic docter that will but its loads of money and not covered by insurance.....So my first question is what has anyone here heard about us biotek labs? good and bad i want to know if its worth the cash...

    ok so the brand that i buy is bobs red mill.....i just found potatoe starch on the website....is that potatoe starch flour?

    Im trying to do some gluten-free baking and my recipies call for potatoe starch flour and all i can find is potatoe flour in the stores......how bad will it turn out if i use the potatoe flour? and does anyone know where to find the starch flour?

    I have a question...ursula was your bleeding caused by celiacs?......hope you dont mind me asking.....my mother had horrible pregnancies with me and my brother where she spent most of the 9 months in the hospital.....now she is having continuous bleeding and the doctor says its not menopause and her uterus is fine........could her problem be gluten related...

    Im not sure if im in the right topic........i have a question.....when a product has malt vinegar in it is it required to state it as malt vinegar in the ingrediants or can it just say vinegar?...what i want to know is can i eat things that list vinegar as an ingrediant and be safe?

    thank you so much for that link.....i never could understand what dh was by the desrciptions i heard or read.....unless those are really severe cases it doesnt look like i have it...my rash bumps are alot smaller.....like blackheads....

    so i was reading up on dh and im not sure if i have it......i have had a rash on my upper back for years(when i was younger it was also on my chest but it went away) its like little zits that itch. I can scratch them right off.(gross i know) is this dh?
