  9. --> QUOTE(Lola B @ May 19 2007, 02:21 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I, too, am having issues with finding a decent bread. I've tried the Gluten Free Pantry sandwich bread, and it's good, but tends to crumble quite a bit. The 50/50 water/club soda suggestion sounds intriguing though. Will the club soda make the bread less crumbly? What type of kitchen aid...

  11. Ok. I have some mixes for breads I will have to try them out. Because the ones already made you buy in the store just don't smell right.
  12. That should be fine. As long as you have a good amount of bananas to keep it moist.
  13. I have posted this recipe before but it is good. My daughter eats all of her sandwiches with it, they are both very picky too. Try this: 1/3 cup shortening 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 3/4 cups Gluten free flour (any kind will do) 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup mashed...

  15. Hi everyone, I am so frustrated. My husband just got a powerbar for himself (he is not celiac) but we used to give them to my older dd to help her gain weight. I looked at the package and it says made on equipment that also processes wheat. When we got them for dd we got a big pack at sams club. And no where on there does it say that. Also...
  16. Nicole has had one on and off since last summer, It is bizarre she is seeing a rheumatologist for it and joint swelling( I think the swelling was from insect bites) But a butterfly rash is a sign of lupus, But not the only one There are 12 symptoms if she has at least 4 they will try seeing if she has it. But usually rare in children. There is no specific...

  20. Hi everyone I have a quick question. I can't find the answer anywhere. I think it is in a cbc or the hematology part of blood work. But what does a present left shift mean? The normal is absent. Does it mean anything? Thanks for any info you have.
  21. The girls had their follow up celiac blood work done last monday. The Gi emailed me today and said their celiac titers are with in normal limits. I am so excited, I must be doing something right. Yeah
  22. yes. Chebe makes an awesome tasting and smelling pizza too.
  23. My daughter Gi said that alot of kids have an allergy to dairy sometimes for a short while after gluten is removed, they should get over it. I think my daughter is fine now,she also used to get distended even after removing gluten. And a test showed she had a slight milk allergy.
  24. I buy the frozen pizza crusts and buy some shredded cheese and sauce, My girls eat it up. They don't care because they eat pizza like the other kids just gluten-free. And I buy or make gluten-free cupcakes since they can't eat the cake. That is what we do for parties.
