  1. Oh yeah, diarrhea, and i haven't replaced my cutting boards, colander, pans, etc... I just wash everything twice before i use them...not a good idea?
  2. You can always buy some gluten-free Chicken Broth and simmer fresh carrots, celery, and cooked shredded chicken together. Of course if your not feeling well you may not want to cook...maybe there's a local store with a gluten free soup section?? My local health food store has some.
  3. I AGREE WITH HER ADIVE 100%!! Just try the diet because a very well known actual GI dr. in my area mis-diagnosed me as just having an "abnormal digestive system", when in fact my new holistic dr. figured out immediately that i'm glutent intolerable...so much for those medical classes thay were trained in like robots!!
  4. Thanks for the positive advice I am excited to see what happens over the course of the next 6 months. I'll have to go over eveything in the kitchen again...maybe that husband of mine accidentally used my vegan buttery spread or something...how many days does it take for you to recooperate if something sets you off?
  5. Is it at least much better than 2 years prior to the gluten-free diet? Ya know, i haven't had any gluten or dairy which i am sure of beacuse of my food choices...however, i tryed to do a detox kit and some orthobiotics (replacing the good bacteria into my digestive tract and flushing out my system) and i'm just wondering if that triggered this to...
  6. It is hard!! I hope one day this gets waaaayyyyy better! I usually have a very positive attitude about it, like i know if i stick to the diet it will get better, but this DH that started to really bother me again is driving me nuts...i refuse to leave my house when it gets like this. Oh well, i'll just have to wait another 5 months to see what happens...
  7. I've been gluten-free for about 6 weeks and DF for about 3 weeks. Last week was the first week that i started to feel a litte bit better and them BAM...3 days ago i started to det the big DH again ....my dr. said it could take up to six months to get better...has this happened to anyone else where you thought you were going to get better and then it hit...

My dr. gave them to me and i started taking them on mon. and for the past 2-3 days now i've had dh I thought the dh was getting better for about a week but after i started these and a detox kit i now have an upset tummy again to the point where i don't want to leave the house and i hate it when this happens...
  10. Just me again...just thought i would see if there was anyone knew around here that knows if these are gluten free? (i would call the company but it says you have to write to them on the back of the cans)
  11. Does anyone know if these are gluten free?
  12. Dairy is definitely your culprate!! Stay away from milk for a couple of weeks and see what happens. And yes leafy, green veggies have tons of calcium. Try doing an internet search on calcium because there are a million other ways to get your daily calcium
  13. Mexican Food and Margaritas, Pasta and Red Wine, Chocolate Chip Cookies (Pamelas are the best!)
  14. OH YES!!! I'm 28 and have NEVER had any dairy issues until the last few months. I was told that 8-9 out 10 people who are glutent intolerant (and never knew) will also become dairy intolerant temporarily because of the damage we've done to our intestines along the way. The ville (i think it connects the stomach to the large intestine?) has hairs that have...
  15. This happened to me too. After i started the gluten free diet i thought things were getting better...but then a couple of weeks into the gluten-free diet i noticed there was still all of this gas pain...like something was alive and crawling around inside of me!! After eliminating Dairy it has gotten 75% better...i highy recommend trying to eliminate dairy...

  20. I AGREE, take the diet seriously and just watch what happens...i lost 30 pounds because of this problem...but i'm finally no longer foggy minded and i've gained a few pounds back too...just see what one gluten free month can do for you!!!
  21. I was told by a regular gastro Dr. i might have UC...but then i went to a holistic Dr. and he went over a list of symptons (such as pale floating stools, bloody stools, leg cramps, headaches, etc...) and low and behold i'm glutent intolerant. Once i eliminated the gluten (even though all blood tests were negative) i'm sooo much better. He said the colitis...
  22. You can have anything you want as long as it's homemade. Fry or bake your own fries. The risk of cross-contamination is there if you get them from a restaurant because they fry their fish and chicken in the same oil.
  23. I agree...it's like Dr.'s automatically think women have the "depression gene" living inside of them and it's all hormone related...and just because we had a baby we're all of a sudden living with post-partum!! What a crock of crap!! I was so depressed after having my daughter and i kept trying to tell people that the baby and my son were the only ones...
  24. I too became very ill after having my daughter/second child. I was diagnosed before having her with IBS problems, heartburn, migranes, and unresolved tiredness and leg cramps. After having my daughter 6 months ago (four years after having my son) i went to see a holistic doctor who finally made sense of all of this IBS (which became waaaay worse after having...
