okay, so here is the skinny....for those of you who don't know my history...here it isOpen Original Shared Link So anyways, I go to the allergist/immunologist yesterday. I tell him about the scalp stuff.... he says hmmm,,,it coulb be DH, but probably not since the breakout is just on the scalp. He went ahead and did a skin test for other food intolerences...

Num1, does a gluten-free diet not help your scalp either?

I too had the same scalp outbreaks... check out my history with this Open Original Shared Link anyways, that is the reason that I went gluten-free. I have only been gluten-free for 2 weeks. I am also seeing an allergist to confirm any other food sensativities/allergies (I know that word isn't Gluten Friendly... =)

hey,,,,did you get an epidural by the anesthesiologist during labor? Did it have no effect on you. Alot of times Doc's "accidently" feed the epidural into the spinal cord space. This could be the cause of some of your symptoms. A good way to tell if the epidural was in the epidural space is that it worked... If you noticed no numbing or pain killing effects... -
Anyone know a good dermatologist/immunologist in central ky that is well versed in celiac,,,especially dermatitis herpetiformis? b.

just a question for all of those with dh. Question # 1...upon starting the gluten-free diet, how many "outbreaks" or relapses did you all have while on a 100% gluten-free diet. Question #2 ... how long where you gluten-free untill your skin symptoms where completely gone w/o relapse? Or will we always have occasional "outbreaks" here and there? -

Okay, here's a VERY abbreviated synopsis of my history , and I'm sorry for the piss poor spelling and lack of gramatical structure.. (sorry it's as long as it is). I am a 28 yr old white male. As an infant I had a severe intolerence to wheat and dairy. I was never diagnosed with DH or Celiac. At 2 yrs old, my mother began to feed my gluten with no problems...
