  5. is there any way you could get the recipe for the graham crackers for me?
  6. Does anyone have any suggestions for gluten-free graham cracker crumbs? because for christmas my family always makes these reese balls....peanut butter and graham cracker crumbs rolled together and then dipped in chocolate. these are my absolute favorites and i don't know what i'm gonna do come christmas if i can't have these?! thanks....
  7. I would think that as long as the turkey you buy isn't preseasoned you should be fine, but i'm not sure...sorry!
  8. Is there any way you could take a vacation from work just for a week or so? That would give you some time to recoup and maybe do some research on labels and finding foods you like. Maybe when you make dinners try to make extra so that way you can just take that for lunches and you don't have to use Sundays to make all of your lunches. good luck!
  9. apples with peanut butter and fajitas on corn tortillas...normally i get it without any seasoning and it's still ohhh so good!
  10. I made a stew soup yesterday and it is absolutely delicious! i don't know the exact amount of things, but you pretty much add everything together in a big pot or in a crockpot and let everything simmer for a few hours. taste as you go as to what seasonings you want. stew steak browned in a skillet first (i did almost 2 lbs) a bag of frozen soup vegetables...
  11. i remember seeing it on here, but i couldn't find it when i searched for it. does anyone have a good stuffing recipe? it doesn't have to be the cornbread one. i'd like to try it out before thanksgiving that way my family doesn't think all of my glutenfree food is different/not good. thanks!
  12. there are a few ify ingredients i think - mono-and diglycerides, dextrin, modified food starch, coloring, and flavoring. it is made in the US and i think that means that the modified food starch is corn, but i'm not sure. i went to their website and the only way they have of contacting them is by snail mail and i was sort of hoping for a quicker response...
  13. i thought i was asymtomatic too. since going on the gluten-free diet i have found that i did have symptoms. i used to get headaches and bloating at least once a week before going gluten-free...i didn't even notice that i hadn't been getting them until i accidentally ate something with gluten in it and they came back within an hour. i also could not concentrate...
  14. hello and welcome to the board. i'm a newly diagnosed celiac and i'm still learning alot about everything. the only question i can really answer is the one about your son not having weight gain or diarrea...i never had any classic symptoms like that either. i never had diarrea or the constipation that some people get, i didn't lose or gain weight i have...
  15. Hi and welcome. I am 21 and i was just diagnosed with celiacs like 3months ago and went gluten-free about two months ago. I did not have any symptoms before being diagnosed. I did have an autoimmune disease and ulceritive colitis but both were under control thru medicene and i had no problems with them. When i found out i had celiacs i read everything...
  16. i have a feeling it might be related too b/c i ended up with uc and celiacs as well. I know UC is a very common misdiagnoses of celiacs. i'm planning on doing more research on it online.

    ARCHIVED Liver Biopsy

I've had two when i was younger it's really no big deal. The only thing I was scared of because I was so little is I didn't want to leave my parents when they took me back. They knock you out and when you wake back up you have a small hole in your side, but its covered up with a bandage. Your not allowed to do any rigorous activity for a few days...but...
  18. actually my hepatitis is not genetic, it's not contagious, it cannot be inherited. they have no idea where it comes from. But I've read that celiacs can cause autoimmune hepatitis. I was on prednisone for 10years, so it suppressed my immune system, if i had celiacs at that time, prednisone would have masked the symptoms. But I've been off of the prednisone...
  19. so i was diagnosed with idiopathic autoimmune chronic hepatitis when i was seven, ulceritive colitis when i was ten, and celiacs just recently at age 21. i don't get the classic symtoms if any for celiacs. so my question is did i have celiacs first or the autoimmune disorder?
  20. I keep on trying to put a picture in my profile so that it will come up when i post. but i keep on getting this message... Welcome to your control panel No access permissions Sorry, the board administrator has not enabled your permissions for this part of the control panel. does anyone know how i can get this enabled?
  21. What do you look for on your bathroom product (shampoo, soap, etc) labels?
  22. Envirokids granola bars are good. i like the berry ones and the peanut butter ones. and you could always make a bunch of homemade cupcakes and cookies and just freeze them and pull them out for her lunches. becuase other than the granola bars i haven't found any good junk food items that are premade. oh and there is always candies like m&m's or reese...
  23. they look like what yours did...little red dots that are almost pimple like. i've never had any type of reaction like that to any type of new product...ever! So this is a little wierd to me. Is it celiac's related? What do I look for on product labels? because it's not the same thing that i look for on food labels...is it?
