  1. i know that when i tried gluten free (waiting totally for biopsy) I pee'd less at night and during the day....its a strange symptom and the first i noticed alleviated off gluten...or atleast seemed better...
  2. i had bloodwork ran over two weeks ago by my PCP and per his quote clearly indicated Celiac- I don't know which test he ran but know from the GI who also was copied on the results- that it didn't clearly indicate Celiac as much as the PCP thought/thinks. GI ran a 'celiac' panel last friday and nurse called today and said all was fine and normal with it. ...

  5. thanks! that means- pots are ok- pans a few do have scratches and can be replaced, that won't be that expensive thanks for the cleaning tips. my vacc stinks- rather than sucks- so i'll have to stick with wiping...the dyson is our next purchase thanks!!

I have semi-new pans and pots (or atleast to me) we bought them a little over a year ago- they are those QVC pans (cooks essentials) stainless steel w/ non stick. anything i can wash them with to un-gluten them? what about the dishwasher? Do i have to buy -new- pots and pans? I thought maybe boiling detergent (dawn or cascade) in the pans and pots to ungluten...
  7. how long did it take to get your results back? or for the whole process? i read up to three weeks? i want to do the complete test without gene testing- I'll have the biopsy next week. my primary dr doesn't doubt that its celiac and only referred me to the GI to get the biopsy for an official diagnoses but the GI says its likely NOT Celiac than Celiac.   8. i make a cream cheese icing thats super easy if your interested; one block cream cheese/ room temp 3/4 stick of butter/ room temp Sugar to taste; i try and get away with as little as possible i drop a few drops of vanilla and almond in while mixing on medium until well mixed its delicious with fruit too

  10. Well I hope you enjoy it as much as i did...my hubby was busted twice having a midnight snack of the gluten-free cake!! Pamela's is the best i love it bunches....i thought about trying the bobs just to see if it was as good- bobs also makes a choc chip cookie mix that will be essential if my three year old is diagnosed....Kroger here and Publix carry both...

  14. thanks so much. I'll go forth with the biopsy just to make sure i don't have anything major wrong. Hopefully i get it moved up and hope that i can atleast start gluten free this weekend- a week or two gluten free shouldn't skew the results of the biospy? Does the blood work definately mean i have Celiac? Is the blood work often wrong and thats why the biopsy...

I received results from bloodwork this past monday that i tested positive for Celiac through bloodwork, and would need a biopsy to confirm the results. i have had severe stomach issues for months and tried gluten free (on my own)for three days and didn't have near the issues i normally would have. Then my dr tells me to stop (after telling him)gluten free...
