    i made my first loaf in my zojirushi last night and it was suprisingly easy! It turned out really well- i made the Bob's Red Mill gluten-free bread mix. It was good. I suspect the Pamela's Amazing mix will be that- amazing. i have enjoyed all the pamelas products i have tried thus far. That mix should be here this weekend. So now what? What do i do with...

    the ONE sample they took that wasn't in the erythema areas he noted came back as 'not celiac' per the nurse. and i asked well since he took only ONE sample and i am responding to the diet- can we assume that I have at minimum Gluten intolerance? she said thats what celiac is, an allergy to wheat and instead of your throat swelling you just get a stomach ache...

    just wanted to ditto that they are yummy- taste just like regular chicken tenders- and i also broiled them on each side to get the crispy'er they were kind of wet/mushy on the breading until broiled. i also got mine at whole foods

    those color coded plastic mats, are what i was thinking about- if gluten gets on a plastic cutting board- can it be washed off with soap? If this is a bad idea- what kind of cutting board should be used? how about utensils- should they be metal? like stainless steel? or heat resistance rubber/plastic?     the salad dressing is supposed to be gluten-free as are the chips- they were both on a 'safe' list. maybe it was cc issue with the chips. I had real bacon- gluten free on the label. the Gruyere did have enzymes listed on the label- maybe its the cheese? the dip is a kraft dip- which i thought would be clear if there was wheat in it- it does have MSG...

    So i am almost a week (tuesday) gluten free and my tummy troubles have let up the whole time- aside from a sore belly feeling.     thanks! I am hitting the bathroom tomorrow. already confirmed makeup is okay- bare minerals- called and got a list of 'safe' products, all ones i use. i do have these weird bumps in my hair. like pimples but not pimples- maybe thats from my gluten rich hair treatment- ?? I sure hope my 'chapstick medicated' is gluten-free i LOVE that stuff Thanks...

    I have gathered that lots of celiacs like Tinkyada pasta, Kinnikinnick, and Pamela's Bread Mix. I can get Pamela's Brownie mix (yummy) at my local market but nothing else. Is there a one stop shop site on the web where i can find these items? I found them all at seperate sites and would like to avoid multiple shipping charges. Also any other brand- recommendations...

    So had the biopsy yesterday so I'm in the clear for going gluten-free...but how? Do I get all my ducks in a row= like detox the house first or just take it a bit by bit detoxing myself and the house at one time. diet first, house next?     same thing happened here about a year and a half ago- GI came back and said that i have pretty bad acid reflux. i hadn't ever had 'heartburn' symptoms except once while pregnant after eating a banana of all things. I took the meds for a few months and couldn't tell anything different so i just watched what i ate- the usuall heart burn offenders and chewed...

    they took one sample of the small intestine and three in the colon. I am irritated because we discussed taking more for accuracy. ARGH! i am p/o'd because i went through all that last night and today for what feels like a shot in the dark. Meanwhile- my supposedly negative blood tests from last week were actually "weak" positives. I had been off gluten...

    this weekend I went out of town to visit family (who btw are SO unsupportive of probable Celiac) and ate gluten overload....my grandma made my favorite cakes and i ate LOTS since it was kind of a mental thing of saying goodbye to my fav foods while there, anyway i ate mounds of gluten-y foods while there and had some minor stomach issues (aches and D) while...

    my prep is the osmo prep. its a ton of pills over a few hours. i think Four? its like thirty something pills. plus dulcolax. I don't think I'd ever be able to drink the liquid crap. i vomit easy. I had to do a prep simular for a surgery last year, just not this extensive....my tummy is feeling bruised now....im scared of tuesday! just ready to get this resolved...

    having a colonoscopy on wednesday, along with endoscopy/biopsy. I have had the endoscopy before. no worries there. What should i expect for the coloscopy? is it typically done under sedation? thanks! Breann

    I am also having a Endoscopy/biopsy/colonoscopy on Weds. This will be my second Endoscopy. Never did the Colonoscopy before so kinda worried about that. the endoscopy left my throat slightly scratchy but by later that afternoon i was totally fine, maybe a little more tired than usual but thats it. i was awake the whole bit- the anesthetic didn't take effect...
