  1. Hi Stef, I have the same problem, I don't know what to think when this happens. One night I didn't make it to the fridge in time and passed out on the kitchen floor. I am not over or under weight and the doctor told me the blood test I had came back ok. I try to eat a lot of food just before bed to try and make it all night. Sorry this is happening...
  2. winki4, Your story is so moving to me, my brother is also sick and is unwilling to do anything about it. Thank God you were able to reach your family at just the right time. I was sick for so long and now you and the others on this web page have realy changed my life and have given me the hope that some day my family will get better. My mother was...
  3. Hi tiredofdoctors, My son wants to be gluten free but always complains it cost to much for the food or it's to hard to get on the run, just lazy I think. He told me he knows it affects him because he sometimes feels drunk or sick after eating a lot of gluten and his thinking changes along with bad moods and depression. Do you know where I can get the...

  5. Hi Tiffany, Thank you for your reply. Your right the fact that they are adults. It's hard because they don't realy understand what they are doing to themselves. They constantly complain about thier problems and in the back of my mind I want to scream out the gluten word. I know I can't nag at them or it will get worse. It's realy hard to see your kids...
  6. I'm new to being a Celiac and my kids are also sick, my son 21 and daughter 24 both have realy bad mood swings and all the other problems that I had suffered with for years. It seems they are much worse than I was. They have both tried the diet and when they are gluten free it is as if they change into such wonderful and balance people but when they eat...
  7. It’s strange this should come up, although it might not be related to Celiac, I have had a problem with my feet. I get a burning pain in my feet when I am not feeling well or if under stress, it was also a joke with my family and friends, because my kids would tell me when ever I spend over $5.00 for something my feet hurt. And that’s when I realized tha...
  8. I had a lot of hair falling out before I went Gluten free. Handfuls at a time. I thought it was because I color my hair, I started getting white hair at 17 years old and by the time I was 25 I was all white. It took about 4 weeks of no Gluten before it stopped falling out and if I get sick or weak from Gluten it start all over again. I thought I might go...
  9. I was glad that someone brought this up because before I went Gluten free, I was suffering with memory and mood problems. I had no idea how bad they had been until I didn’t have them anymore. Now, I noticed if I do get some Gluten the memory and mood problems come right back and it takes about 2 days for them to go away. I also suffer with the body p...
  10. Don't know if this helps but when I get dehydrated the same thing happens, I get dizzy and feel bad. I started eating the Pedialyte Freezer Pops and it seems to take care of the problem. I have a hard time beleiving I am dehydrated because I am drinking all day long, it could be the electrolytes. Maybe it will help you.
  11. Hi, I am new and this is my first post. I was diagnosed with CI and it seems to be much better now that I am gluten free. Everything is better now. My parents were told I would out grow my allergy to wheat and milk and they could slowly give it to me. I have been so sick for so long just like all of you. I am hanging on to the chance that it was...
