  1. Mario- You might want to inform folks that the list you are speaking of is for Canada Only . Here in the US....Kraft just makes a blanket statement of saying they will put any ingredients clearly on the label. Jello in the US is safe, but read the labels because they change frequently. If you are speaking of products in Canada, you might want to inform...
  2. I guess I'll go ahead and answer my own question....Yes this list is only Canada . I am moving it to the canada section of the board now. -Jessica
  3. Ok I just have to vent. I went out with some friends for supper tonight. I went ahead and ate before time. I knew we were going to Applebee's and they are not very celiac friendly. They put seasonings on their meats and even plain veggies aren't safe there. I really thought I would be ok to just sit there and order a pop, seeing as I was full. I HATED...
  4. Lucky Charms also have Oat flour. I personally wouldn't touch them with a 10 ft. pole. -Jessica
  5. This list is only for Canada, correct? Kraft USA still has the policy of having clear labels with allergens listed in bold. If this has changed, someone speak up!! -Jessica
  6. Herbox Boullion cubes are gluten-free. They are made by hormel. It states right on the jar they are gluten-free. The bonus part is, they are sold in regular grocery stores!! YEAH!! -Jessica

    ARCHIVED Leaving

I haven't seen any doctor bashing on this board. What I have seen is many individuals sharing their own individual experiences with physicians. It can be ugly for some people. They are sharing their frustrations and problems, which is exactly what is board is all about!! As far as Mis-information goes.....people are free to put in their two cents to...
  8. While going through the diagnosis process. I had a doctor hand me a sample packet of prozac and tell me I was depressed. I looked at him and said, "I may be depressed, but the only reason I would be is because you are too stupid to figure out what is actually wrong with me." And I walked out of his office and haven't been back, however when I got my diagnosis...
  9. You might want to begin keeping a food diary. Write down everything that goes into your mouth and the approximate times that it does. Even write things down like medicines. See if you can pinpoint anything that might be causing an aggrivation to your system. Another option would be to post on here what you eat and folks can try to help you sift...
  10. Williams Brand Taco and Chili seasonings are gluten-free. McCormick's seasonings are gluten-free...you can use chili powder, onion and ground cummin and that is about what is in a taco seasoning packet. -Jessica
  11. The Sugar Free ones are gluten-free, but not the regular Halls. -Jessica

    ARCHIVED Lupus

I am curious where your research comes from on this, It is on every major list associated with Celiac that lupus is a disease associated with Celiacs. I personally have a family memeber who died from Lupus. I am just wondering if you can point me in the direction of where you got your info...I would love to read it. Thanks. -Jessica
  13. Open Original Shared Link offers a gluten free selection of frozen dinners. It is clearly marked on the boxes "Gluten Free". They are really good, but sort of expensive (such as with anything that is gluten free). I LOVE their cheese enchiladas and the cheese pizza. I fry some hamburger, onions, green peppers and top the pizza with that and some extra cheese...
  14. I really hate to keep harping on this....but these are the rules of the board, and if you can not follow them, then Scott will take care of the situation. There are people who insist on posting the very same information in 12 different places. This clutters up the board and it is against the rules. So plain and simply don't do it . Thanks. Jessica...
  15. This website along with the message board has a plethora of information. You might want to try looking on the site and searching the message board for the great information. -Jessica
  16. Yep it sure is!! -Jessica
  17. Veined Cheeses, such as blue cheese, are not concidered safe because the mold(veins) are usually started from bread cultures. -Jessica
  18. Tylenol is gluten-free. -Jessica
  19. I have my own house so it really makes things easy as far as food goes. I don't have roomates to contaminate anything. I am a great cook so cooking is a breeze, the only trouble I have is finding the time to cook. I have a SUPER busy semester right now and hardly any time to cook. What I attempt to do is cook on sunday and monday and then eat leftovers the...
  20. ALSO.....if you don't get a post under your topic. Please do not go and make an identical post about the same topic AGAIN. Just try adding something to your origional post to call attention to it. I know recently there have been a few folks not getting responses so they just keep Re-posting the same info. in all different places. That just makes the...
  21. I actually lost a BF during my diagnosis process. He couldn't deal with all that I was going through testing, being sick, etc etc (among other things ha) He had no clue how to take care of someone who was sick so he just bailed. Before I got sick we had talked about long term (the ring, the life etc). I think I am FAR better off without him. I couldn...
  22. I eat the enviro kidz cereals all the time with no problems!! I am very sensitive. I trust them. Peanutbutter panda puffs are my favorite! YUM! -Jessica
  23. I did notice that corn pops are on that list. Beginning Jan 1 they started putting wheat ingredients into them. There might still be a few "safe" boxes on the shelves, but you should read the label carefully before purchasing becuase if they are a new shipment they are not safe any longer. -Jessica
  24. I have found that only the nacho cheese contain wheat ingredients. I eat the 4-cheese, guacamole, taco, ranch, salsa, and plain corn with no problems. Enjoy!! -Jessica
  25. Hillshire Farm Lunchmeats are gluten free. They are good. I make a roll-up with them. Lay out the meat, put some cheese inside and roll up. You can also put a layer of lettuce on the outside which is tasty. I absolutely can't stand gluten-free bread so I just avoid it! ha I use kraft cheese slices in my roll-ups. Also velveeta is gluten-free. ...
