I haven't found any great bread either. Everything I have tried has been NASTY!! So I have sort of givin up on that route of sandwich making. I'm not sure if it is gluten-free. I'm not sure if you can write it off on your taxes either. However I have a good idea as to go about it. Have your doctor write a prescription for it and have your local pharmacy "fill" the prescription. here is the cornbread recipe that I use. I LOVE IT!! YUM!! Gluten Free Cornbread 1 Egg 1/2 Cup Liquid (milk, juice, water) 2 T Sugar 2 T Oil 1/2 C White Rice Flour 1/2 C Corn Meal 2tsp Baking Powder 1/2 tsp Salt Mix well. Bake 425 for 17-20 min. Makes 6 muffins I doubled this recipe and baked it in a small rectangle... -

As far as pretzles go...a company called Ener-G makes a wheat free/gluten free pretzel. They aren't bad at all. I actually like them better than regular pretzles. They are kind of expensive, but sure helps for the cravings!! Enjoy!! -Jessica

Mi-Del makes an arrowroot Gluten Free Animal Cracker. They are VERY yummy!! They aren't terribly expensive. However, I am not sure if you can get them in Canada, I live in the U.S. I hope you are able to find them!! They are worth the money! Best Wishes! -Jessica -

Tiffany is right....the gluten part of wheat flour is what makes it "Stickey" and what makes it fluffy when you bake . That is why when you are baking gluten free goodies, you have to use the xantham gum or garr gumm.flours like tapioca and rice have their own stickey substances that help hold baked good together.
