  1. HI, When I started going to a rheumatologist, she thought the same thing for me. Once I began the gluten-free diet and have been on it for about 1 year and a half, many of those pains are decreasing. I also see a chiropractor who has helped a great deal too. Also, has she had her vit. levels checked? Seems like my vits have helped that pain too. nicole
  2. HI, I've had a high ana for 14 years plus and the docs and rheumatologist could never figure out why. ALl of the other panels and autoimmunie tests would come back negative.   3. HI, I tested through Enterlab about a year 1/2 ago. I have two copies of either DQ1 or DQ3 not subtype 8. Now my daughter is surely celiac, she's 8 and doing better.   15. We just came back from WDW on Monday. WE found that Animal Kingdom was a poor choice for us to eat. The ribs were very undercooked and pretty sure the bbq sauce had something in it.   21. HI, I thought I found a bargain at the grocery store when Rice Dreams Milk was found on the shelf. I read the label and it doesn't say anything about gluten of any type. But hubby is disagreeing saying he read something on it. So, wants me to double check. Usually he's right, I have to admit it. Thanks Nicole

  23. HI, I've been thinking about doing a celiac presentation in my daughters class. She keeps asking if I will do something along those lines. I wrote a note to the teacher and she said she could incorporate it into a health lesson they will do coming up. Anyone have any ideas for this? Nicole
  24. HI, I have to admit the first time I tried them about a year ago I did not like them. I was putting them in the toaster. However, I recently had bought them again to try, but this time I have been putting them in the microwave for about 1 minute and somehow, they are coming out very moist and yummy! Nicole
  25. HI, I had gotten a receipee from here before about mint cookies. Ingredients gluten-free animal crackers ( I get Mi-Del) bakers chocolate peppermint extract Melt chocolate in pan. Add several drops of pepperment extract into pan and mix well. (Note, take pan FARRRRRRRR away from fire, the extract if flamable. I know this from experience by accident...
