    My stepfather got shingles on his face, in his mouth and ears which is called Ramsey Hunt Syndrome. In doing some search on the internet some sites also connect celiac disease to it? Has anybody heard of this?

    HI, That was how I felt a last year after the holidays and blamed that at first. I finally went on the generic version and it is gluten free. I have been doing fine on the generic version, so it may be worth checking into. Good Luck.

    I thought I had read or heard that too. I just checked the boxes of chex I have and didn't see anything. I do have a Betty Crocker gluten free cake mix and it does say that it is made in a gluten free facility.

    Hi, My blood test was negative, but I went gluten free anyway. I have a little sister that was diagnosed at a year old. I had been eating gluten light for a couple of years. I had so many symptoms disappear that I had complained about for years, that I wouldn't go back now. Good LUc, Wendy

    I got the results from my blood test. My phosphorus level was fine. They did say that if blood sits in a test tube too long that can happen. It does make you wonder if this could happen to any results.

    I got home from work yesterday and had a message to call my doctor's office. I called today and found out they want another blood test because my last one showed that my phosphorus was high. The nurse did say it could be a lab error also. Just wondered if anyone had heard of that before.

    Just for your information the name brand synthroid can no longer be guaranteed that they are gluten free according to glutenfreedrugs.com I started taking the generic form which is gluten free.

    I have tried making biscuits like these using Fearns White Rice Baking Mix. They come pretty close to the Bisquick version which I did make before I was gluten free.

    If you look on glutenfreedrugs.com, Abbott can no longer guarantee that all strengths of synthroid are gluten free. I did call them and was told they survey their suppliers and the suppliers say their isn't gluten, yet Abbott will not say yes there is gluten or no there is not.     I am lucky I live close to gluten-free Cucina's. Everything that I have tried has been wonderful. The best part is not worrying about CC when you eat there. It has become my favorite restaurant.

    You are most welcome. Now if I can only stop the coughing so the muscle can heal. I am getting the most relief from my heated car seat. I thought it was an odd feature for cloth seats, but just happened to be on the one I bought. I love this feature.

    I couldn't believe that I did it. Of course my sinuse have been draining to add to the aggravation, so coughing doesn't help the healing process. My doctor even said he did it before.

    I did call the pharmacist today and he told me that it was gluten free. I was given the generic form. I will try taking it tonight. All this because I pulled a back muscle sneezing. It ended up messing up more muscles from coughing too. Leave it to me to have something weird like that happen to me.

    The gluten free pretzels are a tasty snack too. If you are in to sweets, try baking from that new cookbook. If I want a quick snack, I bake a batch of muffins or scones. I have also made a cheesecake without the crust. Good Luck

    I was thrilled about the Rice Chex of course. I've found all sorts of uses for them. Even use them for crumbs to make meat loaf. Another favorite of mine is Glutino's feta cheese and spinach pizza.
