ARCHIVED Completely Healed
holdthegluten posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I dont understand why..........if i am completely healed and everything is normal (endoscopy), then why do i still have food sensitivities and dont feel back to normal. I still get the stiff neck and burning eyes when i eat certain foods (I still cant figure out what foods cause this). The fatigue and bloating still occurs frequently...........WHY! -
I just had a bunch of testing done (as you can see in my topic) and the results were very good. The endoscopy showed that my villi were completely healed (biopsies) and my lymphocyte count was very low (guages inflammation). The colonoscopy revealed a benign polyp that was taken off and everything else was perfect. (no inflammation or anything). The blood...

holdthegluten replied to a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I have been complaining of this problem repeatedly. For me I think I was just not getting enough calories and I added in Mg and B12. My legs feel stronger since taking in more calories. I have been eating less meat and more carbs and i think it has helped tremendously. -

My brother just recently got tested and they said he had a low IgA. What does this marker represent, as well as the others above......They are now doing a blood test for IgG. Does a low IgA indicate celiac disease. -

I seem to get flu like lower body aches and the chills about every 2 weeks consistently. Could this be an autoimmune disorder? I cant figure it out. If i do anything remotely strenuous, i get these terrible aches and pains from the waist down. Im very concerned. Iys not like muscles are sore, but really achy, deep pain and the chills with no fever. -

ARCHIVED H.pylori And E. Coli
holdthegluten replied to holdthegluten's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
The E. Coli isnt bothering me, but I think the H. Pylori is. I have been having some abdominal tenderness and may have an ulcer because i get a dull pain when i dont eat and sometimes a sharp pain. I think it has made my GERD worse also. My Naturopath says we dont need to treat it with abx, but Biohealth recommends using a prevpak rx. I dont know....... -

ARCHIVED Servere Joint Weakness
holdthegluten replied to nikky's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
It can cause you to be deficient in certain vitamins and minerals, which can give you joint issues.......I would get some bloodwork done to check for deficiencies. You might want to try Magnesium and vitamin B12 supplements. Up to 3,000 mcg of B12 a day (3-1,000mcg doses) and take 400mg Mg once a day to start. You can increase the Mg as you go, but too... -
ARCHIVED Optimum Health Resources Laboratories
holdthegluten replied to Jimmy P's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I went through this company and the only way to get your results is to fax the company a threatening letter. After i faxed them, i got my results in one day. A @#$&* terrible company, but the lab might be accurate........i would get my money back and go through enterolab or biohealth. Good luck! -
I was just curious as to if anyone here has cleared their candida problem and now feel symptom free and great again. Just curious.
