    They add lactase enzyme and it breaks down the lactose protein, into glucose which makes it lactose free and easy to digest. They say our bodies actually stop producing lactase after we are weaned as babies. I have also read that 50 percent of adults in the world are lactose intolerant.

    With my cereal I use Lactose free milk. Safeway has their own brand, if you cant find that use Lactaid. They actually taste good, even a tad sweeter then regular milk. When I go out for a latte, I order it with vanilla soy milk. I prefer the soy milk, but I don't buy it for home use because it has a shorter shelf life and I don't drink it fast enough...

    Thanks Angie for the idea about the quinoa flakes. I just saw these yesterday, and now I will have to buy them next time. Sounds like a good alternative to oatmeal, and very soothing for upset stomachs.

    Thank you everyone, for your help. I have been dairy free for one week and am feeling better. This too is a learning process and has had quite a few setbacks, but those have just reinforced the need to stay dairy free.     I am feeling better since going gluten free, but I am still having D. Im thinking of going without dairy for awhile to see if that is a problem as well as gluten. How long do you think it will take to feel better if dairy is a problem? My quess is one to two weeks. Can I use soymilk as a substitute for milk? My last question is what else do I need to...

    Did you find the mixes in a wallmart superstore- or was it just one of the smaller wallmarts? I ask because I live closet to one of the smaller wallmarts, and im want some of these mixes. So I need to find out if I should take the longer drive to the superstore.

    Hi, i just cracked open a Bards Tale Beer, Dragons gold. I just had to post that this beer is DELICIOUS! I have tried the Redbridge and this is so much better. It is about two dollars more a six pack, but so worth it. So cheers to the weekend!

    Is whip cream gluten free? Im talking about the kind in a can, that the espresso stands use on mochas and lattes. I wouldn't think it has gluten, but i have been fooled before! Thanks everyone.

    I use Mrs Leepers pasta, they have rice or corn speggetti, and i also use their elbow macaroni.

    I use Safeways Fajita seasoning mix, and it tells you on the back of the package what else you need to make them.

    I didnt think the yobaby was gluten free, and this confused me, from the yobaby website: Does your plain, organic yogurt contain gluten? Two Stonyfield products, Yo Baby Plus Cereal Yogurt and Cookies and Dream Premium Ice Cream, do contain gluten. All other Stonyfield yogurt products, frozen yogurt, and ice cream do not contain any gluten source...
