    I alternated between constipation and diarrhea pre-diagnosis. When I get glutened, I get fatigued, nauseous, feverish, and want to curl up in a ball and never move! I have Crohn's, too, so I think that affects why sometimes I get diarrhea and sometimes constipation.... I hope it helps knowing you're not the only one with those symptoms!

    I used to have the same problem. All of the supposedly gluten-free vitamins I was trying made me incredibly nauseous within an hour of taking them. I tried so many different kinds and they all made me sick, even though they were gluten free. I even refused to take vitamins for awhile!!     I'm in the same boat... I was diagnosed with celiac in June 2005 and Crohn's in December 2005. Doesn't it suck taking so many pills every day?!?! I'm only 21, but my pill collection makes it look like I'm in my 80s!

    In order to test for lactorse intolerance, my doctor suggested that I completely get rid of it for three days and then have a giant glass of milk on the fourth day to see if my symptoms (diarrhea and lots of gas) came back.     Huh - the last I had heard, Hidden Valley's dry packet was NOT gluten free. Maybe I'm wrong, though. It'd be great if it was... My mom (also celiac) uses Simply Organic Ranch Dip mix instead of the Hidden Valley kind. I haven't tried it yet, but she says it's pretty tasty.

    I'm from Oconto (30 miles north of Green Bay) but am currently going to school at UW-Madison!! winniepooh--- it says you're from Antigo --- I think the name of the gluten-free bakery that's there is Life Without Wheat (i could be wrong on that), but I know there's a gluten-free bakery in Antigo -- my mom goes there all the time to buy me desserts!
