  2. hello there everyone with IC. it would be nice to share ideas so i am joining the thread. i have not been clinically diagnosed but theres enough symptons that match exactly. i can't really afford mutlitple tests that tell me nothing anyway and diet has helped relieve the bladder. most people think it is diabetes when i tell them my issues. needless to say...
  3. i get multiple pain spot areas. i am to the point if i want a certain part to become flared i know what to eat to flare it. have you noticed that anything contributes to the problem? obviously you have had everything checked out so it does me no good to delve...i hate running circles around all this crap we go through (literally)--you're not alone here ...
  4. did you have it checked by the same doctor. you Canadians get free medical right? get as many opinions as you can. that is right there. i am pretty sure you could live without it anyway. do u have any other pains spots, knots...?
  5. that would be my guess too ML.
  6. alright thanks for the link and the advice. guess i will have to try a few things and see how they affect me.
  7. can i take too much L-glutamine? i take 1/4 of a spoonful a tiwce a day. once in the morning once in the evening. it feels good everytime and was not sure if i could take too much. i dont want to buld some kinf of a tolerance or whatever to the point it is no longer effective. is there anytjhing i should add to aid the repair? i have these enzymes but they...
  8. well of course good luck and all that goes without mention (though it is nice to hear). that "burny" feeling might be the yeast overgrowth. i used to have bloody stools as well and burny feelings too. (still do; not good acid you know). how bad is the blood? is it everytime? do you have reflux and are you taking anythign for it? have you eliminated soy? i...
  9. i need a new shaving cream. one preferably free of evrything. now in worst case scenario i will go get an electric, which seems the smartest thing to do but heard some just dont deal well with them and would hate to waste money and all. so for the time being i would like to find a shaving cream pretty much free of evrything, possibly organic; how bout the...
  10. i'm still "flushing" after 8 months of trial and error. are you still taking in carbs? that was the most trouble for me. it's like they wont allow anything to absorb and one little wrong food item that does not agree will engulf me with candida. when i get a good balance; say after i get to a point where i hardly "go" at all...then i can add carbs again....
  11. Ursa, what are these things more specifically. i guess i am wondering which foods you eat or which you avoid to avoid lectins and salicytates?
  12. alright then. thats sort of a different catch-22 then i am used to. i can't really offer any suggestions for that. though i did just read that probiotics seem to help IBD. how have you come to know it is IBD? just curious as i am ignorant to the disorder. how does the rice make you feel? can you do other grains? i have come to an understanding that white...
  13. and by the way GO WINGS!!!
  14. woah!! theres yoru problem i am guessing. if, if your anything like me i was down to only rice cuz it was the only thing my stomach could tolerate, but aat the same time i kept eating and eating it and everytime i felt slightly more 'clogged' got t othe point you know that tingly flu-like feeling you get, felt like i was feeding myself that!! little by little...
  15. i apologize ahead of time but did not read other replies... i know i had a run in with unepxected glutenening there a couple months ago and my legs started breaking down all over the place as they had just before going g;luten free; everything was starting to come back; maybe there is a sneaky gluten getting in somewhere. crazy as it sounds, mine was Bob...
  16. loraleena, i think you were the original person on this site to tell me that...i have avoided many foods and eliminated many other possibilities due to that...thanks again. i just can't believe you are the only to ever tell me that; most folks say it is diabetes over and over i hear that
  17. i just did a trial run on Bob's... had the Quinoa and the Creamy Rice Farina....both did not do the best with me; although they did not destroy me; they did not fully make me feel right; bad gas, breaking out. i know it was them as see i was very specific and doing ok with this other Quinoa (no bad gas with that) til it ran out; then wanted to experiment...
  18. i have not been able to gain weight at all going on a year now. the more i eat the worse it gets. so i have to eat small amounts, which i think is the best thing. as of now i have less of a requirement to be so active so i can eat less without feeling as though i am burning everyting off. when i was like that i was shoving everything down to try and heal...
  19. quitting gluten (bread) was as easy to me as quitting smoking. i found that every kind of bread no matter if it was gluten free or not just like every kind of cigarette i tried came to one result. sick sick sick. carbs in general were much harder. but sick sick sick. fruit will always be the hardest. one thing that i would splurge on without a second thought...
  20. must have been the cucumbers yesterday morning cuz i took the same dose of pau d' arco and different reaction here with a different foods. cucumbers are weird they give me good energy but darn near give me D; they must have been what wanted to come out so eagerly. and i have been eating them off and on for awhile. another food i will just have to cut thats...

DIABETES. but i have had my blood checked and recheked. always fine. my step-father has it and has the equipment i have used several times....fine. i must say it feels like i empty it each time. i dont feel like i have to go again for a couple hours anyway. i know when i do feel it i usually...
  22. thanks for the help. seems i got a lot of searching, researching, phone calling and driving ahead of me to try and figure this out. this is starting to get worse already. like the antifungals are giving me leaky gut. i feel like everything i am eating is going straight to bladder, which feels all swelled or whatever. my belly is full but my body is starving...
