  1. Next to my Endomysial Ab Titer results it reads Positive 1:320 Negative <1:5 The positive result was circled on mine. Hope this helps!
  2. This sounds like my six-year-old. My six-year-old had the three blood test through the doctor, and they were negative. However, I've been told that sometimes it takes a second round of tests when they're a year older and have had more exposure with age to to glutens. I'm debating between a second round of blood tests with the doctor or tests through Enterolab...
  3. Thanks! My six-year-old still eats glutens (most likely not near as many as she used to). My husband was so relieved when the bloodwork came back negative, but I reminded him that does not mean it couldn't show up in the future.
  4. If I get glutened through cross-contamination, I have DH problems on the back of my ears. How annoying, huh?
  5. I tested positive on the bloodwork, but could not wait the six weeks for the scheduled biopsy. Within six weeks I was healing, gaining weight, not having skin issues, relieved of D, etc. Now, I'm concerned about my kids. I had the blood tests (IgA, IgG, and TgA) run on my six-year-old, and they were negative. However, do I understand correctly that sometimes...
  6. I started gaining weight the first six weeks (gained 10 pounds) and then plateaued for a few months. From months 5-8 started feeling much better (gained another 10 pounds). Yeah! I'm headed into month nine and am amazed at how much more focused and organized I am with some work-related tasks. Thanks for the reminder about vitamins. I have gluten-free...
  7. For me I had D irregularly. The progression was so subtle I didn't realize I was carrying around Immodium AD all the time. I kept thinking, oh, a touch of food poisoning or the stomach flu was hitting me every few weeks. Prior to the problem with D, I only had flatulence and some constipation. Everyone is most likely different and for some of us, we had gotten...
  8. More than eight months ago (when I was first discovering celiac disease), I had a severe hair dye reaction, most likely from the PPD in hair dye. Scary! The Prednisone to treat the hair dye reaction increased my appetite (I was not gluten-free yet), so I became more ill from eating more gluten. I've now been gluten-free for more than seven months; I feel...
  9. I know to usually check out a restaurant online, ask for a nutrition list at the restaurant, or speak to a supervisor/manager. Oops in a rush a blew it at Q'doba. I planned to order chips and queso, so I asked the person taking my order what was in the queso. She listed a few cheeses and peppers. I asked her again if she was absolutely positive and if I could...
  10. Welcome! This is my first time posting as well! I must say that I gained 10 pounds the first six weeks, but have plateaued. I'm almost at the six month mark and am becoming increasingly frustrated that I have not gained a few more pounds. I recorded my caloric intake the first six weeks, and ate around the clock. I think it's when we start to stress and...
