  5. Last year, we negotiated a trade-in . . . They each got to pick 10 pieces of candy (and my daughter had plenty to choose from) and then traded in the rest for a Webkinz each. Then I bagged it all up and sent it with hubby to work . . . 'cause I"M the one that eats most of the candy otherwise!!

  11. My daughter was diagnosed with Celiac and Gastroparesis within about 10 days of each other. She was on a low dose of Ethromycin (sp?) for a couple of months to speed up her motility. The GI thought the gastroparesis was a result of damage from the Celiac and expected it to go away which it appears to have done (it took about a year) however she never had...

  14. What about a common utensil/mixing bowl/spatula/mixer/measuring spoon/pan? (although I don't cook my pancakes and muffins in the same pan . . . maybe you do ) What about whatever you are using to "grease" your pans? Any common ingredient that could be cc'd?

  16. I've had the Bob's Red Mill . . . it did take longer to cook . . . it tasted fine to me (like regular oats). "Earthy" taste makes me think it might have gotten wet/moldy/mildew?? Was your packaged sealed?

Well, my daughter was particulary annoyed wif me and me hubby both talkin' like pirates this fair mornin' . . . so, I emailed one of her teachers (the one who does not know me that well, but by his reputation, would most likely go fer some sort of pirate banter in the class room) . . . he responded wif pirate lingo and told me he gave his class the option...

  21. I think it's quite possible that you were seeing results. It sounds like you had cut out the majority of her gluten and her system improved with that. You would have only gotten so far and then seen no more improvement or actually a relapse of symptoms as the body starts having stronger reactions to smaller amounts . . . just my opinion.
