  1. Pano, I'm so sorry to hear that. Looks like we are all in the same boat. I'm now freaking out about the Crest Prohealth Rinse I've been using for MONTHS! Looks like I've been glutening myself some more? Is this an unsafe product for us to use?
  2. Ok folks, I need to know if this is a fact or not. Does the Crest Prohealth Rinse contain gluten? I've read that it doesn't, but there could be "trace" amounts? I've been using this stuff for months and now I'm worried. Please chime in if I should return the product or if it's still safe to use.
  3. FSG, this is so frustrating. Every time I think I've got something figured out, BAM, we go right back to gluten being the problem. You name it, I've struggled with it and it all seems to have on common denominator. I simply want peace and good health. I want this to go away, although I know it never will It such a struggle and I hope and pray we all...
  4. Also, where can I find these enzymes?
  5. I have had a bone density test as well. That came back normal. I will take a look at these supplements that you mentioned as well. I have taken Rescue Remedy, but I didn't know it could be useful for a glutening? How so? I know it does contain alcohol, but I think it is gluten free. I thought we didn't have to worry about alcohol? I am very watchful...
  6. Oh wow, thank you everyone for chiming in on this. I was blown away to have had a 2nd cavity in about a years time. I was told by my new dentist that my old dentist did such a bad job on my teeth and gums, that my gum line was reseeding (sp?). I was 29 @ the time. I found that odd as could be, but now it's all finally making sense. I'm also on thyroid...
  7. Have any of you had tooth decay, i.e. cavities and gum problems due to gluten (although your dental hygiene was near perfect)? Also, anyone here suffered(s) from noticeable hair loss - actual scalp shows? I ask because these are two issues that I'm dealing with. I'm having my 2nd cavity in a year filled today. I'd like to hear people chime in.
  8. This may sound like a very ignorant question, but is it safe to mix dishes that have had gluten on them with dishes that had gluten free food on it all together in the dishwasher?
  9. Ok, I need someone to confirm this for me. I just went to the Burger King website and it lists their fries as gluten free. Is this true? Because if it is, I'm running out to go buy some. Please tell me it's true!
  10. Cilantro has been a main staple in my diet since a child. It's always something my family has cooked with. What is part of the detox bath? I'm not a fan of baths, but if it will help, then great.
  11. Thank you ML. I eat a good amount of cilantro now. Do you think I'd benefit from a heavy metal cleanse? Any symptoms I should watch out for?
  12. This is exactly why I'm so very frustrated because of my skin reactions. Now keep in mind that I've only been using this stuff for a week or so (I've used it before, but only yesterday found out that it had barely in it). I'm just frustrated and appreciate you all listening to me. This isn't something I'm new to, but it never ceases to amaze me the odd...
  13. How do you know if you should do a heavy metal detox?
  14. Every time I think I've finally made it fully gluten free - BAM - I get hit with some more. It's bad enough that I must inspect every ounce of my food before it hits my mouth. I must look at my shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and lotions. Now, to make matters worse, there is barely in my deodorant and wheat amino acids in my hair color!!! Does this madness...
  15. Thank you Happygirl. I was being glutened for a while from a variety of things (silly me, didn't read the labels and trusted too much). I'm hungry within 20-30 minutes of finishing a meal. I'm obsessed with food. Heck, I just ate and I'm hungry again. Then to top it all off, I colored my hair yesterday, read the ingredient list AFTER the fact and found...
  16. Why is it that after a "glutening" period, do I (maybe all of us go through this) feel this incredible need to eat. I'm starving. All I do is think of food. I'm famished. My appetite significantly increase and I'm obsessed with food. I eat and then I'm waiting for my next meal to arrive. At one point I thought I had this under control, but after a glutening...
  17. Because something has fragrance automatically puts it into the not safe mode? Explain please?
  18. I'm more concerned with their bars of soap. How did you find out the body wash had gluten.
  19. I have tried searching for this, but cannot find it: Is Oil of Olay soap gluten free? I'm finding contradicting information. Thanks.
  20. That is right CODEX is for Europe. However, I know some companies here in the US use that standard (at least from what I've read). It's not that I don't feel safe eating them, it's that I'm not sure if I have reacted with eating them. This is why I've asked what other's experiences have been.
  21. Becky, are you serious? You actually got a nasty pm from someone at this company? May I ask what was said? Also, what reaction did you and your daughter have?
  22. Is anyone else dealing with a bout of candida (of has dealt with it) on top of being a Celiac/gluten intolerant? If so, how else have you changed your diet and what are you doing to get rid of the candida? We are on such a limited diet now. Thoughts, suggestions?
  23. According to CODEX standards, its anything below 200 ppm.
  24. I understand that, but is the 100 ppm "safe"? No one has had any reactions? Thanks for your post.
  25. Has anyone tried tried Mr. Krispers rice cracker snacks? They say gluten free (less than 100 ppm). Do you think they are safe to consume?
