Hey guys! I buy my charcoal and probiotics at Whole Foods. My friend with Celiac was saying that the gelatin and cellulose in capsules are made from grain. most of the time. One more thing, I don't think it is that important to correct her/them. The most important thing is that they understand WHY there is such a need to not cross contaminate. I would concentrate on teaching them about what needs to be done and if they are just not going to do it then bring snacks and food with you for your son. This is a pain, i do realize... -

Honestly, I don't correct people. I have found that they respond better when i say allergy. I only say intolerance and go into details with friends and family and anyone interested. -

I have not had a specific side numbness or pain. What i do have is this...when i am glutened, my face will become bright red w purple tints and it will burn and hurt terribly. My friends and coworkers know this about me. It will show up within the first 30 minutes and will stay for 3-4 days until the gluten is out of my system. -

I have always had sores in my mouth also. Now that i have been gluten free for 8 mos i use it as a sign that i have been glutened. Within minutes i will have sores in my tongue and mouth. Good luck to u! -

Okay- im a little late to reply to this but my body went into such withdrawal and detox that i was diagnosed w lupus! i was also critically deficient in vitamin D so that added to my symptoms. as i continued the glutenfree diet and starting taking vitamin D my symptoms went away. I have been gluten free for seven months. with no cheating! it takes sooo...
