    Here in Southwestern Idaho at 5,000 ft it has cool off from last month when we reach 95 or better for a few days.; but no rain for about 2 months and it is dry. Temperature today is about 85 degrees outside but higher inside the motor home. it cools off at night so we need the electric blanket.

    There is another possiblity. Have you consider the bacteria Hilobacter pylori. It means the bacter that cause fire. Some time ago it was found in all case where ulcers were found.     I agree with you that I don't have Acid Reflux. I have try to add some acid supplements;but I have not notice any improvement. No the doctor did not measure my stomach acid; it was a PA and she the same PA start to treat me for H pylori as my blood test was positive for it. This was the reason for the Nexium.     Mylanta has gluten in it; I learned the hard way by taking it years ago and was sick all summer with upset stomach. I used Arthritis Tylenol; which is gluten-free. It has worked for me for a number of years; but I would used just Tylenol for a 13 year old.

    I am a B- and have celiac. I did blood typing when I was working. Inb the 50' there were six factors that were consider negative. To be a true negative; you need to be negative in all. Not everyone was negative for all 6 factors. I am B- and of the six of us at least 3 are negative and 3 of us are also celiacs.

    Thanks for the welcome, I hope your husband nevers has to go through what I have been through in the last 10 years with my digestive system. If some doctor suggest he uses Nexium say NO!. I blame it for the start of my major problems.

    Thank you for your help; I have done a lot of schrolling through the forum looking for subjects that interest me. A number of my concerns have been answer. I no longer deel alone with my problem. I have updated my profile and add a photo.

    I have search the forum for a way to post to a forum. So far, I can find only posting to a member. As a new member I have no friends to post. Actually, I am looking for support as I face another major surgery and would like to discuss with others who have had hiatal hernias or other hernias. Thanks for your help with this matter. Betty L.
