    this is very disconcerting because even if you eat something that doesnt necessarily give you symptoms, it could still be doing damage and keeping your anti-gliadin antibodies elevated - the only safe way to live is to just prepare all your own food with raw ingredients, and obviously most people cant live like that- i know i cant. this sucks for me because...

    there are tons of potato & corn chips & other snacks that are labeled gluten free, but people are still getting sick from them. bottom line, whats safe? I usually eat tostitos & fritos and most of the popular potato chips, but now im finding that they are not made on dedicated lines. is there ANYTHING safe to eat?

    my issues are all GI and i never get rashes or anything skin related from using gluten/wheat based shampoos, lotions or soaps. can i still use these products or does it still cause villi damage? my understanding is that gluten is not absorbed into the skin cause the protein is too big

    I buy my spices & seasonings at the local farmers market. They come in bulk and are very affordable. Is there any way there could be gluten in there? The market probly receives large boxes of the stuff and they divide it up into small plastic containers - ive never heard of any complaints but just thought id ask

    Has anyone done the Candida diet? i need to but my biggest concern is loosing weight....I am currently 5'11" and weigh 150 (I should be closer to 155-157) but if i start cutting out carbs & sugar im gonna drop down even lower and I dont like the way I look when Im too thin & everyone starts complaining that i look too thin.     well they are not made on dedicated lines and some people feel ill after eating them...ive been eating them on the road recently and my gluten antibody was high on my retest so there may be a connection but cant say for sure

    I knew that if I ever got a celiac diagnosis I would turn into a recluse, well I didnt get the official gold standard diagnosis but all the evidence is there and now im starting to have extreme anxiety about going out & eating out...bottom line its just not safe to eat out anywhere. Ive been working in sales for 2 yrs and havent been able to get work...

    Im thinking about just backing out of dinner or not ordering in the restaurant. Its just too risky to eat out and i dont want to get a panic attack in front of my colleagues

    Has anyone ever had an elevated SGPT-ALT?? My blood workup just came back perfect aside from an elevation in this enzyme. My fecal anti gliadin is still high so could there be a correlation with the gluten exposure?

    I havent traveled with any of my colleagues since I decided to be super strict with my diet. Next Week I have a tradeshow in DC and there will be 3 group dinners...im dreading them!     Well its says gluten-free but it most brands dont describe the processing/packaging conditions & if there is risk for cc- BTW, are Frito corn chips safe? i always eat those when im on the road

    ugh, i just got my GI test results back....my gliadin antibody is still high even after being on the gluten-free diet - i have no idea where im getting gluten from. I had accidental gluten ingestion a week or so before the test so im wondering if that caused the jump. Also found out I have clostridium difficile, a paraste and candida overgrowth...now...

    My moms dear friend (who is 45 & has always been healthy) is going thru her second bout with cancer. First was an intestinal lymphoma and now colon cancer.     WHenever i travel i always try to find a gelato shop so i can get sorbet...its one of the few treats I can have since its gluten and dairy free. but i just got nervous that there might be cross contamination issues - has anyone had problems? most of the shops i go to serve it in cups but i went to one last night that served the gelato on cones...dont think...

    Is eating out too much of a risk? How do you guys do it? You can nag the waiter to death, hand out allergy cards but it seems like gluten will still somehow wind up in your food. I still dont know how obsessive & strict I need to be and am hoping someone can shed some light. Also is there an actual cutoff in terms of how much gluten is needed...

    How do u really know if products are gluten free? is it safe to eat products that specify "made on shared equipment or made in a facility that also processes wheat" even if it says gluten free? TJ's sells gluten-free waffles but it also says made in a facility that also handles wheat ingredients. Then there are the Turtle Mountain coconut & soy based...

    im going home to see my parents and next sunday we are having a big bbq. Is there anyway to clean the grill surface to remove residual gluten? I can always use foil for my stuff i suppose, but it would be nice to get those nice grill marks

    Hi- Is it safe to cook on grills that are used by other people? im going to see my family next week and we are gonna have a bbq on sunday. im concerned about CC, but would that be an issue since everything is heated? if i wiped down the grill with isopropyl alcohol would it clean off any residual gluten? i suppose i could always just grill my stuff on...
