  1. I keep writing a response to this and keep deleting it because I can't be nice about a lot of what you said. But let it suffice that you would not keep that attitdue as my child's teacher for any length of time. For all of you fighting this, I can not stress enough the importance of hiring an attorney. Those of you who have teachers and schools who...
  2. HI!! Donna love that case!! How did you do the labels? The only thing I hate about EM is the label on the bottom that covers up the color. I would rather have a solid bottom with a label and a see thru top so I could see what color I have!!! I've finally settled on a eye shadow natural mix that I like which is On the phone upper, Scented colors on...
  3. my joint pain disappeared 2 weeks after going gluten-free and hasn't returned in the 6 weeks since. I would say it is no coincidence. FOr what ever reason it makes her sleep being gluten free so go with that. Stacie
  4. I tell everyone Celiac DISEASE because it carried more weight and only the worst people will argue with me. Other wise, if I explain they are intolerant as we did to some family and then it is assumed they can have small amounts of stuff because that isn't very serious or life threatening. Some are intolerant to wheat and have spent trying to get my kids...
  5. HearHear!!!! Scientific research is also usually backed by the very people trying to make a buck by having said research turn out for their best bottom dollar. Current medical scientific research tells my whole gang to eat wheat to our heart's content because we have no medical scientific reason to avoid it despite severe sickness and undeniable positive...
  6. Thank you! how much dark green leafy stuff? How many times a week do I need to work those in to dinners? And more importantly how can I sneak them in? The extent of our dark green leafy in the past amounted to the likes of iceberg lettuce. I'm having to seriously revamp our veggie/fruit intake. Before it was easy to get the calcium as we measured...
  7. So I called the ped gi today since the ped wants to now about a follow visit. Since the biopsy was "normal" she doesn't have Celiac but is just sensitive and lactase deficient and they want us to seek out a nutrionist. Since the one in his office hasn't told us anything we didn't know, I really don't think one would be of much more help than I can find...
  8. Also if you used commerical baby food, it may have had wheat in it. Commerical formulas also have dairy and some have wheat from what I've heard. Either could cause the problems your describing. The inflammation from what we were told can be caused by a food allergy. And our baby often had bloody bottom from the bms. Did the gi do an upper and take...
  9. So today I did Sunkissed fair which seems to work well even if it is a different color than the fairly light netural. I'm not sure if it is better or not than than fairly light. AFter a little while it looks very natural. Sunkissed just seemed a little beige and seemed a little grayish??? But now it looks normal Osais in the corner, starry eyed as...
  10. The eye shadows are great but not so sure about the foundation. I'm getting a cakey feeling like it is drying up on my face right across the cheeks. I've always used cramy liquid so maybe that makes a little difference? Does the different formulas act differently? I believe this is intensive formula. Thanks Stacie
  11. My order came !!!! Here's what I did Fawn is out!!! DIdn't even try it but one look at it and I would like one of the undead IT's jsut way too light So I went with the fairly light and I think it works. The bottom of my neck/chest may be much paler than my face right now but I swept some around there and it looked much better. I don't have a...
  12. Was for us. And as a pp mentioned, getting a positive on a 7 month old who isn't pratically dead is pretty much unheard of. As sick as my daughter was and as convinced as three drs were that this is what she had everything including the biopsy came back negative. IF you do get a positive, count yourself lucky because if you don't chances are very high...
  13. Oh she's doing great now and is gaining weight!
  14. HI! We actually thought she had allergies and we had her tested for all main allergies by skin test and then the allergist had us do food trials reintroducing each item after a month of regular normal bm's. He is 100% refusing to budge and say she has any kind of intolerances or allergies because of the length of time it took for her to react to the food...
  15. Well I tried it again with new yeast and pretty little bowls to bake them in instead of little strips of foil. They rose much better this time and when cooked had more and larger bubble holes so that was part of the problem. THEN I read a tip in Gluten Free 101 that said that bread is done when you can thump the top of them and have a resouding thump....
  16. I can second that!! My daughter turned into a devil doing things just like yours. Two weeks gluten free she was smiling. 6 weeks later she is a dream. Having suffered for years with chronic pain, I can contest to the fact that pain will make you evil. Do the diet - go ahead and remove dairy as well for the fastest results. Dairy also makes my middle...
  17. To make it worse, we asked for this dr!!!!! Some of the drs in her practice refer to him and perfer him over the one in town. We drove 1.5 hrs to get to him and interviewed him for over an hour! I asked him every question about Celiac, realibility of the test, you name it..... He gave all the right answers - test was unrealiable, blood even worse, testing...
  18. IT did get cut off but I believe I was thru. LOL! we are finally on the right path but only because I put my foot down and insisted this is what we are going to do. The ped backs me up but not to the extent of crossing hairs with the gi. It's just every day on here we see one more mom with a negative result, a sick baby, and a gi that refuses to...

  20. Thanks Everybody! How about a brush??? Since the foundation brush is out of stock for eternity, what makes a good brush? I found this one Open Original Shared Link The mascara sold on this site is the same one from Monave so if hte brush is okay I'll order the two from them. How whaky is this - all these years I've dealt with red eyes, itchy...
  21. HI! So know how you feel!!!! Ped Gi seem to be stupid when they don't get a marsh 3 or 4 level of damage in toddlers. Ours even went as far as to say come back in a year if she is still this way, we will retest to see if she has developed full blown Celiac by then. Full blown?? IS that like being a little pregnant?? Let's check back in a few months and...
  22. HI! Well I finally produced a bun that looks like a hamburger bun. I used a bun recipe out of Carol Fenster's Gluten free 101. The mix I used was 1.5 cup sorghum, 1.5 c potato starch, 1 cup cornstarch (out of tapioca starch), 1/2 cup almond flour . THe recipe was easy, the directions clear and precise and it tastes good. HOWEVER! The bun rose a...
  23. NOW I need mascara! any thoughts on who to order from since I would rather do that then drive downtown just for mascara. Stacie
