From my understanding, it is not a gluten issue but a fungus issue. Do you want to take in active fungus/mold into your body that is already immunocompromised? You decide.

ARCHIVED What To Eat When Sick?
moldlady replied to jayhawkmom's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
What to eat when all else has failed and you are sick? Raw garlic... and warn your relatives that it will outgas through the lungs but it will also help combat congestion there too. I take a whole raw clove and swallow it down like a pill.... grease it up with olive oil if you have trouble swallowing. What not to eat when you are sick and want to... -

ARCHIVED Eucharist And Communion Bread
moldlady replied to moldlady's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Thanks to everyone for your input. I decided to only have the "wine" and did not do the wheat thing. It went well and no side effects. ML -
Green tea is not fermented but the black tea is fermented and so are the coffee beans. It may or may not be a factor for you... who knows. Go with what your body tells you is best as we all react differently The info. that I received on instant coffee with flour added to prevent caking and lumps came from a show called Your Health on tv with Dr. Becker...

ARCHIVED Low White Blood Cell Count Symptom?
moldlady replied to mrs turbo's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
It is very difficult to know just exactly what has caused a low white count. There are several different kinds of white blood cells of varying proportions. A low white count usually means an assult upon the immune system. This can be caused by infection (virus, bacteria, fungus). Usually it takes time to suppress the immune system to a point where the... -
ARCHIVED I Would Appreciate Advice About Beano.
moldlady replied to nikki2008's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
The enzymes in beano have been derived from Aspergillus. It is a toxic fungus that produces all kinds of mycotoxins one of which is the enzymes used in beano. So, for me, it has two strikes against it: gluten and mycotoxin. ML There are many spices that will reduce the gas produced by fermentation of the beans in the intestines. -
ARCHIVED Is There Anything I Can Do To Supress My Appetite?
moldlady replied to blondebombshell's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
This may not help much other than give a better understanding of the problem. Apparently if one does not get good 6-7 hours of uninterrupted sleep the levels of leptin in the body are extremely low. Therefore, the feeling of being full is delayed and to the point of almost non existent. Without complete sleep, one feels hungry all the time.... every... -
Jewi, Anything that ends in ---berry is low sugar fruit. I happen to like the blueberries and strawberries the best and they are the most available in frozen so they do not spoil. Granny smith apples if you can tolerate them.. I didn't at first but now I do... with some almond or cashew butter on the slices. Yum. Tomatoes... & grapefruit (I like...

Absolutely! One can get exposed to high levels of fungus in buildings, food, and air in large amounts enough to over tax the system. Once it takes hold and becomes systemic, then it is very difficult to get back to square one. If you have had many shots, you may already have heavy metals deep inside from the preservatives in the solutions. Did your...

I understand completely what others are saying. There are many versions out there! Each person is a bit different and has to see what their bodies can tolerate. I have found that using whole grain oats and whole grain brown rice are tolerated if one eats a plant based diet. There is so much fiber in the whole grains that they do not feed the fungus...

I'm mostly plant based eating, anti fungal/candida, and no gluten. granny smith apple cored and sectioned cashew butter on the sections Fast and easy and also filling. Gluten free oat meal with spices and blueberries on days when I'm sick of the above. ML

ARCHIVED Eucharist And Communion Bread
moldlady replied to moldlady's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I used the term "eucharist" and maybe that was too specific. I did not intend to bring up a subject that caused so much trouble. Just didn't see it anywhere and wondered what people thought.... that's all. ML -
ARCHIVED Eucharist And Communion Bread
moldlady replied to moldlady's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Thank you everyone for your responses. I did do a search first and the only thread that came up was the one with 1,888 pages. I just didn't want to read all of those. I'm not sure what to do at this point. .... ML -
I've only recently gone off of gluten (7 weeks now), and just realized that all communion wafers have wheat in them. What does everyone else do? ML

JLC, I'd be lost without my blueberries and strawberries. I only eat 4 fruits mainly because of the low sugar content. The berries provide much antioxidant activity and bind with mycotoxins. If one has trouble with them it may be to leaky gut issues caused by gluten or parasites (macroand microscopic). Heal the gut and then try a few at a time. I...

Lugols iodine is excellent for aluminium and mercury. Within 3 months one can have it all cleared out through the kidneys and intestines. Testing the immune system and see how well you bounce back without symptoms returning is a good way to see how well you are getting rid of heavy metals. When I was really heavy metal toxic I noticed a dark ring of...

Since I have gone on this no gluten thing I have found that I have to eat more! I don't eat meat and no free fats so it is tough and very limited. So, I have decided to eat more quantity of quality food. For example, I used to only have 1/3 c. whole grain no gluten oats in 1 cup of water. I have doubled that now and add coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg...

Once the funugs/candida has gotten into the body it morphs into other stages. It can grow mycelia deep into the tissues and send "seeds" through out the body. So if one has had systemic infection for a period of time, it is very difficult to get rid of it. I agree that a "beat up" immune system can make fungus and bad bacteria thrive. A celiac condition...

Chlorella was too strong for me too. I switched to dried organic cilantro a bit on everything I eat... mainly salads and in my salsa. I also use coriander that is very slow. Getting plenty of fiber is important to move the metals out of the system. Glutathione is important too and sulfer compounds that pull and bind. Cheap detox baths, saunas...

Ken, This is so true. I started the struggle with fungus, then heavy metals, and now the gluten focus. I feel so much better and I can tell that healing is taking place. I've learned so much in the 8 years that I have been changing my lifestyle and way of doing things that I will never go back. It is the only way to stay well over the long haul. I really...
