  2. ooooooooooo anyone else been watching the approach to page 200?? How to commemorate the bicentpage-iness of the unequivocally silliest page not only on c.com but maybe on any health-related forum? <wave yo hands in da Ai-yeh!!> Everybody say "PAAAAARRRRRRR-teeEEE!!"
  3. Aaarrrgh!! Here I am, walking into T-joe's, happy as the happiest of clams (not that I'm qualified to comment on the bliss of mollusks - I have not personally run the studies), then I hear the music. The &^%$#% store is encased in an annoying KC & the Sunshine Band piece of simplistic excrement, so grating I actually find I'd rather leave the store...
  4. Hi Kate, Your sig says yeast & vinegar are a problem, right? Citric acid as an ingredient belongs in a group w/ those two. The manufacturing of it involves yeast and fermentation. All 3 are a problem for me too. And corn! I don't have any great corn-replacement/avoidance tips for cooking, even tho I cook everything I eat and have been corn-free...
  5. Ahhh Sarah! If on the OMG thread, you'd be christened Corneal Spice! Whoops! My "<ouch Bev>" was SUPPOSED to be shorthand sympathy for :rollankle: :rollankle: :rollankle: :rollankle:   (my bad!) Oy it was SO hard to get yesterday's post done! 8. Didja really need the "very"??
  9. OHHHHHHHHHHmigod I've got too much to say! PerroSenorita? Estudio? Porquoi? (Oops francais?) Wow am I diggin' city life. (SJ not really so much a big city) But big enough to have the SF Symphony play in The Park. I walked over to meet old girlfriend Mei for it and it was amazing, thru most of the program anyway. Aaron Copeland's "Fanfare for the...
  10. Hehe I'm quite proud to be able to say I've met SEVEN forum members in person. So far . . . ... .. I'll get t' ALL y'all eventually . .. .just you wait. Oh!! Maybe it's 8! A french chick at a WhF celiac mtg might count! Prob not since she hasn't posted.
  11. Gah! It felt like I only needed to go as far as "Do Tostitos really" and already was ready for the embarrassed emoticon! (which, if any emoticon-adding is done here, really needs to be first) Somehow I was thinking DORitos I know I TYPED Tostitos. In my mind I DID picture round ones - not isosceles (& occasionally equilateral) triangles. Hehe...
  12. Well that figures. I'd like to tour the Hershey plant but I'm stuck living here, just down the road from the Winchester Mystery House!!
  13. Yeah double ditto, or ditto squared - however that works. OH! The poll!! I haven't had a cold or flu in maybe 10 yrs. Certainly 5 or 7, but maybe 10 or 12 or more. (Some yrs kinda lost - don't remember much) It almost seems like I'll feel more 'normal' once I DO have something like that.
  14. Seems to me that's how definitions work - according to specifics.
  15. Ummmmmm . . . ...thx . .iiiiiiiiii think . .. Oh!!! Welcome to the thread, Tostito-breath! how can you EAT something w/ a 3.5" ingred list? Gaaahhhhh! Even MORE fun. I get to go see my 2nd fav acupuncturist in Santa Cruz tomorrow! (& I loooooooove sCruz!) Thought I'd go early for some ocean, but the SF Symphony is somehow doing a performance...
  16. Yes . ... ..sometimes my posts are for my own amusement only. And yes, definitely no Joey in me. Strangely, multiple strangers have said I looked like Woody Harrelson, tho that's when I'm less underweight than now. And how's THIS for a fun moment!! I got CARDED at WhFds buying some Redbridge!! (fyi to the newer, I'm 36 . .. ...
  17. And quite an interesting one, at that! did I see that antibiotics can't launch a candida problem, unless the immune system is already compromised by a candida problem? P.S. I got carded @WhFds today buying Redbridge!!
  18. Pssssssst!! is she flirting w/ me? "how YOU doin'?"

  20. First off, let me congratulate you on having gone gluten-free before every system in the body had a (or multiple) serious problem(s), w/ several conditions lingering or perhaps permanent. No one who's been thru what some here have been thru, especially those w/ permanent resulting conditions, would fathom asking whether it's a disease. If there...
  21. Turning it something that annoys HIM whenever he asks. Almost poetic. Great suggestions. Jess! at the "computer. ..beginning to malfunction" & "come up with your own stories" Heck, we could take turns making them up so there's natural variety!!

    ARCHIVED Avoiding Soy

Hehe you're welcome in advance. Avoiding soy is very easy. It's a Top 8, and I've been seeing "contains soy" everywhere since well before it was mandatory. I had the most miraculous set of vast improvements since quitting soy. May you have the same. I've read of ppl who can't have soy, except when it's 'soy lecithin'. I don't know what...
  23. good ones! And another "Welcome to the Sillythread"! So . . . . . . Winnipeg? Moosejaw? Halifax? <<<<<<<scrolllllllllllling>>>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<scrolllllllllllling>>>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<scrolllllllllllling>>>>...
  24. Whoa! 1st I read it as "goob". Yoohoo! Pseu-zee!! Whatever happened to calling everyone a goob. I think it's a fine word & and a nice reminder of Mayberry & Gomer's cousin. (Ack!! Why the HECK do I remember that Goob was played by George Lindsay? Can trivia be much more trivial than THAT?) <tom now regrets the gentle query...
  25. No no no!! . . ...the angle I was interested in is whether it's another bloody obvious (to the women) marketing ploy thought up by a man. (There'd been something similar discussed on OMG quite a while back, in which I was surprised at the unanimity of disgust at some tv comm'l)
