  3. You can always get a restaruant card and talk to the chef before you go, then when you go you will know what you can have and they will know what you dietary restrictions are and how to handle them instead of haveing to deal with an annoying waiter go befoere or call them and talk to the chef. Your friends should understand and if they are really your friends...
  4. Personally I don't think you need to have the tests done. i can understand why you want to but they cost a lot and also if you feel better that is a test within itself. I think the diet improment is the best test. It doesn't involve paying and no tubes anywhere or having to do stool tests, Just my opinion.
  5. Fatigue is like the #1 sympttom of celiac disease. So that is your reacction and defenitley get the gluten-free wafers next time. Don't chance it. If your body is rejecting gluten then don't eat it, even at communion(just so you know I am not religious so I don't know much about communion?
  6. I don't really agree with them... (not saying they are wrong just my opinion) If you feel better on the diet then stay on it and that's that. You don't need a doctors diagnosis to how you feel.
  7. You can always just try the diet. If you know you feel sick and the diet helps then does it really matter that you have a doctors diagnosis? I know people want to confirm the diagnosis but if the diet helps then for a diagnosis you need to go back on gluten unless you do entrolab testing.

  11. Defenitly go gluten-free!!!!!!!!!! The blood is telling you that you have this disease and if you have problems that going gluten-free would clear up, you don't need a biopsy to prove that.
  12. Welcome! It's good you don't find the diet change too hard. Just wondering what you will eat that is vegan and gluten-free. 13. I think it means that your intesetines were not damaged enough probably because you had been gluten-free and they are just going to keep getting damaged and then you will be diagnosed as clinically having celiac disease, but you don't need to go thhrough that. Go completely gluten-free and you will probably feel 100 times better.
  14. You should defenitley stay in the diet, even if you don't have damage that means they probably caught celiac disease at an early stage. Even if you don't have symptoms it is still doing damage to your intestines and there are some celiacs who were just tested because someone else in their family had it or they were short. My sister is A symptomatic and doesn...

  25. THE Healing process takes a long time and if you cut dairy out of her diet for a while it couldn't really hurt that much. See if she feels better without dairy and then if she does keep it out of her diet but if she doesn't and it is a while later go back to your GI doc and see what they have to say she could have other food allergies or another autoimmune...
