gluten15 replied to oceangirl's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
After looking into anything and everything that might bother me... i read about how carageenan can cause bowel trouble in some and be hard in digestion..si I made a personal choice to cut anything that had that in it. Nothing to do with gluten or cross contamination. -
ARCHIVED Help- An Appeal To Veterans Particularly- Reacting Again!
gluten15 replied to oceangirl's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
While I am not a veteran..you have answered so many things for me that I wanted to input something. It might be the Carrageenan in your Tom's paste. Sometimes this can cause what symptoms you are having and it can take a while to react to it. Once I gave up Silk Soymilk and Tom's..my insides were not having such severe trouble. It doesn't appear that you... -

ARCHIVED Fast Food Solutions?!
gluten15 replied to FlourShopGirl's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Open Original Shared Link I was never much of a 'fast food' eater to begin with. More of a 'quick food' eater on the go. I have always enjoyed nutrition bars, but have since found out one's that I thought were 'healthy' for me..are not so now. The one's I listed above are really good. The cherry is really good. So good for such very few basic ingredients... -
ARCHIVED Waking Up Every Hour To Pee
gluten15 replied to wilbragirl's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Two things that came to mind as I started to read this topic. In my reading about trying to find out certain things I found out that eating too much protein or consuming too much caffeine can cause the kidneys to work overtime. Hence peeing a lot and dehydration. There are so many things and these two may not mean anything..but I am just always amazing at... -
The name of the canned salmon is Deming's. We don't have a lot of really great grocery stores around here and have no Whole Foods..so I was thrilled to even find this. I was actually thrown back that my grocer carried it. I was very excited to find something easy, yummy, that I could tolerate at a descent price that is soooooo good for me. A very healthy...

ARCHIVED Gluten Free Bread Allergy?
gluten15 replied to gluten15's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
When you talk about having trouble breathing..is it to where it's scary or just that you feel like you breathe sort of shallow..like lungs are tight. It's hard for me to tell and break everything down on it's own. I also have mild asthma..but I react to campfire smoke bad too. I have always coughed after exercising..but just very little. Sometimes as far... -
ARCHIVED Gluten Free Bread Allergy?
gluten15 replied to gluten15's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Yep, it has yeast in it..would I shouldn't be having anyway if I am on Candida diet? Correct? Or are we talking about two different kind of yeast here. Don't laugh at me..lol.. If we are talking the same thing..once I get this Candida under control..I may be able to tolerate yeast or is that just maybe a whole different thing I may just be allergic to and... -
Ok..even though I am on a pretty strict diet..I picked up some Gluten Free Bread to keep in the freezer. I am new still to all of this and just wanted to have something a little heavier on hand and I was curious to try it. With so many things going on for so long and being so new to all of this..I am aware that it will take a long to get everything sorted...

Two things touched me as I read the last two post. I have had sore throats all my life and lately I have them every single day 24/7. This has to be allergy related. And I will throw my hands up...I will throw both my hands up to be sick and tired of being told my doctors, friends and family that all of my symptoms are just in my head..so to speak. Also...

I have been looking around the net and diff sites and seeing plenty of actual specific made gluten free foods and also seeing indegredients to stay away from. I have seem some people ask for actual food products but get more directed to things to look out for in things or companys that will list nothing hidden. Thanks in advance... I really don't want to give up my green tea and I know that all it has in it is the green tea..but I've been doing some reading about being careful of gluten possibly being in the tea bag itself to seal it and being careful of what the tea bag itself may be made of as far as allergies are concerned? I also just read a post about...

All of this figuring out and taking control is pretty new to me so I am still learning and figuring. I just always thought a lot of it was related to allergies and sinuses..yet I am learning maybe the reverse to be true where maybe it's the food causing the problems. Anyway..as I am trying to learn and eat things on their own so I can isolate..I do get ...

Oh no..trust me..I had already stopped the Barley Juice! I was just talking about how eating "healthy" ... who knew that's a huge part of what was "killing" me. I was just talking about how I have always consumed things we were told were good for us and Barley Juice was one of those things along with so many whole foods that contained whole wheat. I wouldn...

Thank you for posting this one in such detail. I thought I had done a lot of reading and have heard a lot to avoik milk, but this is the first time I have read the reason why. I am amazed at the info. Just when you think you understand a lot, you keep reading and learning more about everything.

OK..has anyone here figured out they were allergic to something or couldn't tolerate it very well from these symptoms..hard to swollow..almost like a lump in the throat. Getting a sore throat after eating something. Getting very 'flemmy' in the throat if you will..after eating something. Getting a cough after eating something. Could be either dry or flemmy...

Hi thanks everyone. Actually ALL of this is very new to me. Been sick for a long time now for many reasons. Some of the diet is a have too and some of it is going to be by choice to see what else I can fix and I figure if I am going to take care, why not take care of everything because I want to feel better and find out exactly what is what. I am a very...
