My mom and sister both have trouble with corn in large quantities -- like a dinner of Nachos or Enchiladas or if they sit down to snack on corn chips or if they eat too many Panda Puffs (corn cereal). Well, I found the new box of Kix at the Walmart in Troutdale, Jenny. And I've seen Berry Kix at least sometimes at the Winco in Gresham. Although I don't see it very often, it's true. Have you tried the Nature Valley Roasted Nut Crunch Bars? They come in Almond and Peanut varieties. Don't confuse them with the Sweet & Salty Nut Bars, which also contain "granola bar" ingredients -- including the dreaded malt, if I remember correctly. Has anybody seen these? There was only one box on the shelf, and I bought it. There are no "Gluten-Free" claims on the box, like there are with Rice Chex; I presume it's still made in the same factories as other cereals. I haven't had the brownie dessert yet, because it has pecans in it and I'm allergic. But my local OBSH (Gresham, OR) was so cool; they said if I called ahead, they would make me a special batch of brownies for the gluten-free dessert and leave out the pecans!
