I've just began my gluten-free diet and i had a bad reaction to some gluten a few days ago (terrible nighttime diarrhea and stomach cramps) and within 24 hours i noticed red bumps that look just like bug bites on my legs. so far i've counted 8 on my legs and 2 or 3 on my arms/armpits. the bumps are perfectly round, red and very ichy. does anyone know... -

last night, the doctor called to tell me my blood work came back positive for Celiac but while I was waiting for the results, I started a gluten-free diet. I did that for 8 days and now the doctor wants me to go for a biopsy. I have a consult appt with a GI in 2 weeks and ate a ton of gluten today. will I be ok to start eating gluten again for a few weeks... -

can you call your doctors office and see if they have any suggestions? or maybe the department of health? i don't live in Texas so i know i'm not much help but in New York (where i live) there's a program called Healthy NY and it provides health coverage based on your income. I'm not sure of the requirements but my sister got coverage and she has problems...

thanks RiceGuy - you mentioned complexion....i've had the worst time with acne in the past 7-8 months but would have never put the two together. it's like i'm 14 years old all over again! I never had acne growing up so it's quite a shock. i'll check out those supplements and hopefully my skin will improve - along with everything else. -
