Hello, Deb. I must apologize to you and everyone else here for the double post. If any of the mods could ever remove the other double posting I would appreciate it. This particular one I made an error with on my grammar, obviously, but I guess we'll have to go with this one. Deb, I guess what I'm looking for is that period leading up to your diagnosis...

With two weeks to go until my final report, I was wondering if any of you would be willing to do me the favor of answering a series of five different questions that I will be posting over the coming 10 days. Thank you very much.

ARCHIVED Link Between Endometriosis And Autoimmune Diseases
red345 replied to Canadian Karen's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Karen, I must applaud you for your level of research here. This is exactly the kind of mindset that is required among you people, this form of investigation. Great work. -
KS, if you are not on medication, your doctor is correct to suspect there may be an underlying infection. I have a couple of links for you that you may want to review. It will only take you about 5 minutes to do, and the benefits will outweigh the loss of time. Start with this one- Open Original Shared Link While this article does not cover your specific...

Sorry to hear about your current problems, ks. Many different meds are known to cause Thrombocytopenia. If you happened to start taking any new prescription or otc drugs within a 1 or 2 yr window of this showing up, I would re-evaluate those possibilities asap, than discuss them with your doc. Only now are we beginning to learn that several different...

ARCHIVED Fibromyalgia & Cronic Fatigue

wrong one, sorry -
Look into Bifidobacterium Bifidum, too. Acidophillus (Lactobacillus) is a fungicide that's already used on just about every crop there is today. My family member may have had a condition called Lactobacillus overgrowth, a Candida-like overgrowth infection that was caused by this "Good" bacteria. While Lactobacillus (Acidophillus) may be one of the known...

ARCHIVED Enlarged Red Blood Cells
red345 replied to poodlethree's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Hi, Kathy. Enlarged red blood cells are almost exclusively found in cases of folic acid deficiency. This wouldn't be associated to Celiac Sprue, only the folic acid deficiency itself. If I were you, I would try to find a sublingual form of B12 w/ folate. Many vitamin companies offer this product, including vitacost.com and swansonsvitamins.com. $5-10, don... -
"some informations that you give are acurate and good but i did not read anywhere that we could cure celiac disease, since gluten seem to be a problem itself." Nope Luap, but you will in my book~. Keep up the good work, my friend. Just joking about the book, but I do have something on the Celiac link for you I'll be able to share shortly.

ARCHIVED Do I Or Don't I Have Cd?
red345 replied to mikedj's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
"Am I missing a good thread here or a quality medical website that lays out why people with Gluten issues often have high liver labs?" Mike, try substituting Celiac Sprue for Candidiasis during your next search and see what you come up with. You may be surprised. You may also want to rule out Giardiasis-only way you're going to know for sure is by way... -
Glad to see that you're a Kaufmann believer, Paul. Good for you. I consider the man to be a Godsend. If any are still in doubt that all of this is nothing more than a fungul infection, I would invite them to type "Associated with Candidiasis" into their web browser so that they can see this for what it is. The scam found among those in the medical community...

ARCHIVED Lectin May Be My Problem, Not Gluten
red345 replied to hopeful's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Good work, hopeful, very good. You're definitely moving in the right direction. -
I should add that PBC is yet another that can be connected to the Mitochondria. All of these diseases, be it Celiac, PBC, Lupus-everything you can imagine when it comes to these symptoms, can be traced back to Mitochondrial insufficiency. While PBC does have a direct connection to the flow of liver bile, all of these conditions involve one sound principal...

Open Original Shared Link Don't go panicking about this. There are plenty of studies that contradict this theory. Regardless, whether you're talkinga bout PBC, Celiac, or Raynaud's/Lupus, they are all just part of the bigger picture, trust me. No need for panic whatsoever.

Be careful here, Deb. Prior to worrying about a protein affiliated w/ glucose at this point, I would start with an investigation into Selenium and Cobalt, two requirements for proper B12 absorption, according to most. Here's one link- Open Original Shared Link, I'm beginning to have more faith in agricultural studies than I do the Merck's Manual. I...

"I first noticed my excessive sleepiness when I was in Japan for a two week exchange program with my school. I was dozing off on trains and in the classroom." Interesting, though I'm sure the sleepiness you had in Japan was related to the different time schedule you were on. If these come and go over the course of an hour or two, if they begin and end...

ARCHIVED Dairy? Casein? Whey? Lactose?!
red345 replied to FreyaUSA's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
"As far as lactose vs the others, I did find that people who are only mildly lactose intolerant will often tolerate butter and other of the richer dairy products (like heavy cream.)" And that all makes a great deal of sense in the world of Mycology, Frey. On a different note, I believe that also shows us a key to the puzzle-The whole fat dairy foods, generally... -
ARCHIVED Dairy? Casein? Whey? Lactose?!
red345 replied to FreyaUSA's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Frey, I understand that I irritated you before, and for that I deeply apologize. I see that you were having a rough day today, so I thought I would share these two links. Open Original Shared Link This first one covers the core fundamentals of amino metabolism, revealing the pathways behind everything from ketoacidosis on down to PKU. This, by itself... -
Mela, go with what your heart tells you. Read Kaufmann's books (Doug). "The fungus link" is the best one to start with.
