  1. Here are some I've seen mentioned around. Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link Haven't tried them yet but everyone who does seems to like them a lot .
  2. Thanks Lisa . I wouldn't be having this fun at all if it wasn't for you guys . Thank you again for all the help ...and all the tasty treats !
  3. Good news! It worked! I used the mock soy sauce recipe omitting the vitamin c (couldn't find one without corn in it) to make the soy sauce then refrigerated it a bit. Later on I made the teriyaki sauce recipe using the mock soy sauce in place of the soy sauce. The next step was the easiest , marinate the steak over night . It tasted just like...
  4. Made the Lobster sauce from Kowloon's website. It was phenomenal! Made it with Ground pork (sausage meat) and served it on a bed of french fries. It tasted like the Asian equivalent to Chili Fries . Making the Teriyaki steak tonight using the mock teriyaki sauce. The sauce came out tasting great. Had the steak marinating overnight.
  5. We finally made the tempura chicken last night with the sweet and sour sauce. We used Carol Fenster's sorghum flour blend to make the batter and substituted guar gum for the xanthan gum in the sauce. It came out tasting very similar to what we used to eat and tasted great . Thanks again . Our next shots at making are oriental chicken wings (the chinese restaurant...
  6. OMG! Thank you for the site Lisa . The very first recipe I saw when loading up the page was Croissants, and all the ingredients look within my allergies . As for crave satisfying, both the Croissants and the sweet and sour chicken with steak teriyaki will def do that .
  7. I get the same symptoms bittykitty gets with Soy/Soya Lecithin, which honestly doesn't surprise me since I get the same symptoms from Xanthan Gum and Citric Acid as I do with corn. They can tell us "there's no (fill in the blank) left after the process" as much as they want but I think a lot of these companies don't understand that some people are more sensitive...
  8. I definitely will Tina . I'm planning on making a batch of different sauces on Sunday afternoon, with the ones you guys posted here plus an Arby's copycat BBQ sauce I found at Todd Wilbur's site .
  9. Thanks Tina . Gonna try using this to make Teriyaki sauce too . Hopefully it comes out well .
  10. Thank you missy'smom As funny as this sounds I actually forgot to search for the word tempura. I searched for Chinese, Appetizers, Chicken fingers, goldfingers but just forgot the word tempura .
  11. Hi, for the last few years I've been craving Chinese Appetizers such as Tempura coated chicken fingers, beef teriyaki, spareribs and pork strips with the pink sauce covering them, fried wontons, and marinated chicken wings. The problem is I'm allergic/intolerant to gluten/wheat, corn, soy and rice. Does anyone know of a substitute for soy, teriyaki or ah...
  12. I took the recipe posted and doubled it changing the types of flour around, then added spices. 2 large egg 3 Tbs. potato starch flour 1 Tbs. tapioca starch flour 1 Tbs. almond meal 3 Tbs. golden flax meal 1 tsp. baking powder 1-1/2 tsp. sugar Salt, black pepper, ground red pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, italian spices to taste (I just use...
  13. Thank you for the birthday wishes :D Hope your day will be a great one also :D

  14. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  15. I just started buying Haagen-Daz's Five, their new all-natural line. It tastes fantastic and I had no reaction to any of the flavours I've tried so far (which is great considering I'm highly reactive to both gluten and corn).
  16. I use Open Original Shared Link Sponge Bread/Cake for french toast. It comes out just like my old gluteny french toast
  17. Jones Natural line is great! The best thing is that it's also free of corn and soy too (Jimmy Dean has Dextrose from Corn).
  18. Here's a recipe for gluten-free Cannolis. I haven't tried it yet but fully intend to soon once I determine what exact modifications I'll need to make Open Original Shared Link The blog page is wonky. Click "eat my cake" if it tells you the blog doesnt exist, then search for birthday cannoli.
  19. I haven't tried them due to my other allergy problems but The Silly Yak Bakery has them listed on their site Open Original Shared Link. They're listed as Glutenfree toaster pastries.
  20. IAmSara: I use a 4oz box of cookies (ladyfingers) about 5"x7" (20 cookies total, I use 10 for the crust). I've made it with cookies the size of Nana's too (3" diameter sugar cookies too and it only took 6). The Shabtai Gourmet Ladyfingers taste the best but the sugar cookies were good too. These are them Open Original Shared Link Caek: Glad...
  21. Also of note, the phrase "kosher for passover" can be a good thing for those of us with multiple allergies. It usually means no corn, rice or soy.
  22. Hi, all! I just made a pretty tasty No-Bake Cheesecake and thought I'd share it here as it's one of my few recipes to come out right every time (according to non-celiac gluten eaters ). Here's the recipe , hope you like Glutenfree, Cornfree, Soyfree, Ricefree No-Bake Cheesecake For filling: 8 oz cream cheese (I use Horizon Organic which does...
  23. I substitute Guar Gum for Xanthan Gum 1-for-1 while baking and it seems to deliver the exact same results the Xanthan did.
  24. To follow what J. said I have a similar problem with tomato sauce for that very reason. Do you have corn issues? The citric acid in most sauces and packaged tomato products is most often derived from corn. I use Pomi brand tomatoes (come in what appears to be an extra-large drink box and contain no citric acid) and Contadina plain tomato paste (only ingredient...
