  3. I forgot to mention Doxepin - it's an antidepressant (almost certain) that's also good for itching related to DH (not that you have that). I take it before I go to sleep along with the Formula 303- works really well. Just an idea. Susan
  4. And I'm the odd balll that takes Formula 303, a homeopathic muscle relaxer that works wonders for me. Get it at the health food store. Can't over dose, sometimes I take as many as 4. I take it at night before bed and sleep like a baby. It really helps my anxiety - not addictive like prescriptions. I'm also in therapy and it's helping me too. Susan
  5. Count me in for a support group. I'm struggling too. I've done Weight Watchers for a long time , I'm a life time member. My problem is I'm skin/touching deprived and eating is a way to comfort myself. I go to the gym 3 x a week, yoga 1x a week, track all my food with the WW point system, weigh 2x a week. I'm really working on improving my gluten-free...
  6. This has all been great. Thanks everybody. My only small addition is to take Annie's Honey Mustard dressing and make it into a sauce, thicken with gluten-free pancake mix and cornstarch (don't have proportions) and add either sugar or hot mustard or horseradish or indian spices. Good for dipping, sushi, etc. Susan
  7. What do you order that has no dairy at Carrabas? Susan

  10. Hello sillies, What is of importance this morning? I am currently about to put some blues charts on paper for a rehearsal or 2 and preparing for a group student lesson tonite. Hope all are well. It's warm in Atlanta, at least 50 degrees. Susan
  11. Presidential dreams continued My dream the night before the inauguration: I am in the metro with Barach Obama, he is sitting on the left he says "I have $100,000 and I will divide it between everyone on the train" What does this mean? Everyone gets a bonus

  13. I'm taking the l-glutamine for nerve stabilization. That's all I know. It really made me constipated so I stopped interestingly enough now that you mention it. Susan
  14. Wow, I'll look at the website. I forgot to mention - my stiffness was described as "tendon tightness" and the tremor is a result of a tendon tightness. I did alot of yoga as recommended and sometimes my symptoms would disappear - the tightness in my hands is/was a reflection of tightness in my whole body. Susan
  15. Someone asked me to post this. 6 years ago I had onset of Parkinson's symptoms, extreme peripheral neuropathy in my hands. Very stiff with tremor, delayed gate in walking. I'm a harpist as you have guessed so I got really scarred about working. The docs decided it wasn't Parkinsons. I had a liver incident (food poisoning) that contributed . Also i had...
  16. Such beautiful posts, I'm really touched. I fortunately have an almost immediate response to eating wheat, or soy. My advice is to stay on this forum and read every day what people are saying - it's so supportive. BTW could we get back to the salad dressing and sauces alternatives? That would help me
  17. I have a brilliant nutritionist in Atlanta. I've worked with her for 6 years and she pulled me out of what we thought was parkinsons disease. She works with people all over the world by phone. In addition to my wonderful success, I have sent people to her with very complicated/contradictory symptoms (they were also very sick). She helped them. Email me...

  19. Hi Lizard, Where do you purchase coconut milk yogurt? WOW. Yes this list is amazing, also on it non-stop. For breakfast I alternate gorilla munch cereal with fruit and toast with one boiled egg and toast with jam. Susan
  20. Sure enough the post was in Gab within the main page, thank you, I was looking at Vew New Posts. I went to my member name and then selected posts, then topics - each time I ended up with an error message - forgotten password. Then when I entered Inauguration gluten-free party in the search bar above I had no luck. What have I missed? Susan

  24. Hi, I posted on Silly Yak yesterday afternoon (1/16/09) - the post was something like "Inaugural gluten-free Pary/Inaugural". I didn't find it in My Controls and I couldn't find it in Silly Yak either. Of course I haven't dealt with a thread this long before. I went to the end of the posts and looked. Thanks for your patience. Susan
