    I had the same thing happen to me while eating Fajitas at a mexican restaurant before I was formally told to go gluten free by my GI. I almost passed out at the table, I felt so bad I had to try and discretely put my head between my knees to get some blood back in my head. It was scary.     Hey there, the B-12 shot helps me with my neuropathy and muscle and bone pain. My doc checked my B-12 level and it was low. He said that it was fine to take prenatals in conjunction with the B-12 as my body would just dump whatever excess B-12 there was in my system. I'm due Oct 14th, hope you are feeling well!

    I dunno how it works for the soldiers, my hubby is AWACS (flies on the E-3) and as far as i know if he asked they would just have someone take his place if his deployment was during my due date. His deployment window is from May until August. Of course we STILL don't know where he'd be going!! Thats the worst part!

    Hi ladies, is anyone taking both prenatal vitamins and B-12 by injection? I have been getting B-12 by injection for a few months now but I am worried about taking it in conjunction with he prenatal vitamins since they have fairly high levels of B-12 in them also.     Hey all! Elaine, I am due Oct 14th our due dates are pretty close! I actually feel pretty good so far also.....meat makes me gag though, like I need one less food to be able to eat! Stef...my hubby is military also and we have been lucky enough to avoid any lengthy deployments around our last two due dates, so lets hope all goes well for this one!

    Hi all, just found out that we are expecting our 3rd child. I did not know I was Celiac with the first two. I was sick as heck with both pregnancies throwing up a few times a day.     Hey all! Aside from glutening myself twice this week, I can't seem to ditch the chills. I feel like I have the flu half of the time. Anyone else have this as a persistent symptom? Thanks!

    It is quite understandable that people get "defensive" (dare I use the term in this thread) that ANYONE Allergic and Celiac alike, are sensitive to their respective illnesses.     I did NOT in any way say that children ALWAYS outgrow allergies. Nor did I call you ignorant. Please read my post again. what I DID say was that SOME children outgrow allergies. I am very aware that many do not. My husband had horrible reactions to peanuts and all root vegetables as a child and was in ICU for weeks at a time with severe gastro-intestinal...

    While I' m certain that allergies can make people seriously ill.....some children grow out of them by adulthood.(My husband outgrew a severe peanut allergy) Not so with Celiac disease. You have it for life, and it often goes hand in hand with other devastating auto-immune diseases like MS and Lupus. I'm pretty sure those are worse than allergies. She states...

    Just a quick note on the Kraft powdered Mac n' cheese mix. You can find it in the popcorn section of your grocery store. I had it today with Tinkyada brown rice penne noodles and it was great!!!

    Just a positive thought for all of you. The great thing is that at the end of all this, you get a beautiful little baby! When you look at that precious little face the day you give birth you will feel that its all been worth it! Hope you are all feeling better!

    My biggest temptation is when I walk though a store that makes homemade bread and the smell just fills the whole store. I swear my mouth starts watering every time!     Hydrolyzed Soy PROTEIN is not safe. Now I don't know about the oil.......so from what I gather its the proteins that aren't safe??

    I usually drink wine and I don't really have much of a problem with that....I'd hate to see what a beer would do to me now though!
