which toothpaste were you using that had gluten in it? if you're super sensitive i'd suggest getting rid of anything that has gluten in it. especially if it is going to be all over you face on a daily basis.

ARCHIVED What Are Your Favorite Rice Cakes?
dhiltonlittle posted a topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Since going gluten free, I'm finding that I am falling back on rice cakes daily! I really like the Suzie's brand but they are manufactured in a facility with wheat products although it says gluten free on the package. This seems to be the case with a lot of rice cakes. Are there any that you like that are definitely 100 percent gluten free? I'm not a fan... -

Anybody have an issue with these? Just got them today after reading non-gmo and no gluten on the packaging. After a closer look, I saw it said manufactured in a facility that produces products that contain wheat and soy. Should I stay away?

ARCHIVED Getting A Good Breakfast On The Go!
dhiltonlittle replied to dhiltonlittle's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
thanks for the suggestions! i live in brooklyn and work in manhattan. i don't like to eat until i get to work due to the commute (subway) and the usual gi troubles i have after eating (even gluten free). so the wake up a little early option would be nice but is not a reality. only on weekends! -

ARCHIVED Getting A Good Breakfast On The Go!
dhiltonlittle posted a topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
hey, i've just recently gone gluten free and seem to be doing ok with food choices except in the mornings. i don't really have time to cook in the mornings so usually (pre gluten free) i'd grab an egg on a bagel at the deli on the way in to work. i'm assuming even if the grill is cleaned and the utensils are cleaned the grill could be kind of sketchy even... -

ARCHIVED Other Condtitions With High Gliadin Iga
dhiltonlittle posted a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Just wondering what other conditions are out there that having High Gliadin IGA antibodies would indicate. Seems like I read that having elevated levels is not always a sign of celiac because other conditions are related to it as well. What else is out there that is worth looking into? I'm still waiting to here back about my biopsy but my level of IGA was...
