Hi Jen, I'm sorry you got glutened. It could have been the salad, or they may have used four in the soup to thicken it. Yes...drink alot of water, try cranberry juice as it is very cleansing. Oh...absolutely not. Many celiacs suffer from skin conditions. I think it is yet another symptom of malnurishment. Not only did I have dry skin but I would get patches of excema, those are gone too. I was diagnosed as being hypothyroid. I never went on medication because sonn after i found out I was a celiac. After going gluten-free it completely corrected itself. HI swittenauer, Like mstrain said, dry skin is a big symptom of hypothyroid. I had dry skin and dry hair. My thyroid problems cleared up after going gluten-free. Can I suggest that he start taking omega 3 fish oil. You can find it in pill form at whole foods ect. Google it to find out the best daily amount for him. I take 2 tablets every day.... -

Hi otnemem, I take a good multi vitamin every day along with probiotics, a B6, B12, folic acid (1 pill) under the tongue, and definatley omega 3 fish oil. I try to eat a very healthy diet and try to make sure it's organic if I can. I figure that way I am geting most nutrients from my food. I don't know about the digestive enzymes. I haven't tried... -

Hi Jenvan, I know what you mean....not eating fried chicken is unacceptable! So...I figured out a way to make my own. I dip chicken pieces in an egg mixture then coat them with all purpose gluten-free flour mixed with salt, pepper, chilli powder, garlic powder, and red pepper for that spicey taste. Hi Katie, Actually I was HypOthyriod before I got diagnosed for Celiacs. It also cleared up by itself in about 6-9 months after going gluten-free. I actually lost about 25 pounds effortlessly. My doctor explained that because I was so nutrient deffient that my body thought I was starving, so it shut down and treid to hang onto all the fat it could....

Hi Judi, I am sorry to hear all of your health problems. It may take some time but you can rest assured that you WILL feel better.
